It’s been another fab week especially after a really good weekend. You remember I told you about the darts competition on Saturday night, well what I didn’t tell you was that my daughter announced she’d got engaged! I’m thrilled for her and can’t wait to get planning another wedding, although I’m not sure when that will be as they’ve got to buy somewhere to live as well! She’s got a beautiful ruby and diamond halo ring that’s stunning and her fiancée picked a beauty!

On Sunday, David and I were invited to a venue in London for a dinner show. All I can say right now is that it was a brilliant night, with exceptional food and some delicious champagne - which is now my favourite drink! You’ll be the first to know when the post goes live as I can’t wait to share it with you! I wore my vivid pink midi dress from JD Williams and felt really confident in it. 

Let me share a birthday present with you today. My sister bought me these trousers and I loved pairing them with this old fine knit top from Phase Eight.

My sister knows my style very well and picked these wide leg palazzo’s getting it spot on!

They’re from Tu @ Sainsbury’s and come in price wise at a purse friendly £18. What I didn’t realise was that they are part of a co-ord set, so I might just have to buy the matching vest top now. The trousers are true to size and have pockets. The bright and happy print is a tile pattern and the pretty orange print looks super teamed with my orange jumper. The length is super too, just perfect for flats and I’ve worn my gold sandals with them - as well as my new tan toe post beauties. 

My sister also bought me a red tee shirt that looks great with the bottoms too. These trousers are one of those reds that matches all range of shades associated with red, deep orange works well too which is why I picked this old top!

Gold was the only option for me, it’s all about keeping similar tones. So I chose my gold jewellery. Layered necklaces with my Pearl and gold pendant style along with my shorter flower necklace. You’ll see my gold bag took centre stage too, another addition keeping to my warm-tone-theme. This was kindly gifted to my Elie Beaumont and has been on repeat since I got it.

I reckon this all mixes in nicely and I’m pleased with the overall finish. Last minute addition were my chunky sliders, they just pipped it to the finished line beating my favourite gold flats. What would you have picked?
