Floral Green & Cream Trousers - Chic & Stylish Linkup.

Just over half way through June, that’s crazy isn’t it. It always makes me sad to get to the middle of June when we have the longest day! Nights will start to draw in from then and to me it highlights that we’re on the way to another year ending! I know there’s lots of months to get through until the end of December but you know what I mean!😢 

If you’re following me on Instagram or TikTok, you may have seen my reel featuring “new in” clothes from

Sainsbury’s. It seemed to go down well so I’ve decided to do another one featuring clothes from Matalan. I’ll be sharing it on those social media sites soon, so hope you’ll have a look. 

Today’s post is about my favourite style of trousers - the palazzo wide leg. Do let me know what you think of this outfit, the buttery yellow tee shirt is new and I ventured out of my usual styling pattern to pair it with these colours.

Lightweight florals are taking centre stage this season when bold prints are all the rage! You will have seen my other pair, which were a birthday present, last week when I wore the tile print trousers with an orange top. These are very similar and are a lighter feel making them perfect for sunny days. Worn either with a little Tee shirt of a short sleeve jumper. 

The trousers which are a palazzo style have a favourable elastic waist. That’s a great fit for Summer when I don’t want to have anything too restrictive or tight. These are from Izabel London * and I have to admit even getting a smaller size (having lost weight on Keto) they are still quite big, so I’d recommend going down two sizes! They have pockets and are a good length although if you’re tall wearing them either ankle length or culotte style would still look good. These floral print is just right for this seasons fashion and can be worn with anything from a plain Tee shirt to a lightweight jumper or possibly a fancy shirt. 

I picked my cream sliders for comfort and I like the relaxed look it gives. I could have worn trainers too and that’s a maybe for when the weathers not quite right and I want my feet covered up!

I popped on my very cool faux leather jacket (similar).I’ve had this a while and love the look. I wouldn’t necessarily need it when the weather is so hot, but would definitely take this one out if the temperatures dropped. 

Gold jewellery for this look so I added two necklaces at different lengths. You can add whatever styles you like really, but ideally have them at different lengths to create a layered effect. Mine are from different places and not all of mine are real gold but have the effect of it which makes it so much more attainable. Do you wear a mixture of expensive and purse friendly jewellery? I spotted this beauty which would look super on.
