Grey and Green Together - Yes It Works.

Morning my friends.
How are you all?
What a super weekend I've had, well it started on Friday.
My son finally got to marry his sweetheart in an intimate gathering of 15.  Fifteen not by choice, but  due to Covid, we made the best of the day and literally had an amazing time.  I will be posting all about it soon, so do stop back to see it.
As you can imagine Saturday and Sunday have been very slow.  I had breakfast at the venue on Saturday morning and came home to relax and replay the previous day in my head.  It was truly a magical occasion with everything perfect, or as perfect as it could have been considering the circumstances.
So before I run away with my dreaming let me tell you about my latest look for my grey trousers.  A favourite for this time of the year.  I'm after a pair in seasonal tan as I've so much to go with them - I have just found and bagged these from New Look - so will see what they are like.

Grey and green are a lovely combination - one that's new to me.  I bought this little lace top, in forest green just over a couple of years ago.  Literally worn once and as that was a sad occasion for my MIL's funeral I just can't bring myself to wear it again. 😢 I just wanted to show you how well the shades go together - then this one will be relegated to the charity pile for sure.
Lace always add's texture to a look & this high neck style looks great.  It has a snug little cami to wear under it with a button fastening at the back.
Now it's a tad cooler I have a long line jacket to pop over the top and my denim jacket would look cool too.

All that's left is to tell you about my accessories.  The long beads have all the colours of my ensemble in them adding a bit of sparkle too.  I picked my oh so comfortable Vionic courts - that have a flattering kitten heel, so along with the snakeskin print what's not to love about the whole look!

So I reckon my little flirt with green and grey have worked a treat.  It'll be one I'll be trying again.  I will also keep you posted about my tan trousers, if they look okay rest assured I'll be showing them off soon!

Here's another couple of other colourways for these grey trousers - with a paisley blouse & paired with pale pink. 💕

Many thanks for your support today, do leave a comment as I love to hear from you.
Esther Ruby took today's photos much appreciation to her. X
Catch me again for the #LINKUP on Thursday - hope you'll add a post of two.
Bye for now. X

  1. Oh I can relate to that. I can't wear clothes either that I've worn to a funeral of a loved one. I'm glad the wedding was a good day! And the New Look trousers look very chique, buy them!

  8. I’m so glad to hear that everyone had an amazing time in spite of the a Covid restrictions. I don’t blame you for wanting to give away that green top, even though it looks so pretty on you. I’d likely do the same.
