May Review.

Good morning.
Hope you’re well today.

Welcome to the first post of June, the beginning of Summer. Let’s hope we didn’t have that last week in those few hot days! 🤭
Apologies for being late, I've been away over the weekend and just didn't get a chance to blog! I hope you saw my stories on Instagram as It was a super little break, I plan to share next week if you missed it though.

As it’s the first Monday  Tuesday of the new month, shall we look back on what I wore in May for the … May Review.

With temperatures rather low at the beginning of the month I was dressed in layers rather than anything befitting sunshine.  I took full advantage of the sun with my new co-ord here. This khaki green two piece was a bargain from Primark.  It only cost 320 for both items, I consider that a brilliant buy.  The wide leg trousers have an elasticated waist and pockets so makes it a versatile piece suitable for shopping as well as a lovely travelling suit.  The matching top is just so easy to wear.  It slips over the head and sits just below the waistband or can be neatly tucked in.  The colour is good as it'll pair nicely with gold pumps and trainers but can also be worn with heels for a stylish evening look - how would you wear it?

My next post featured another item I picked up in Primark.  This stretchy top is almost too good to be true as the cost is just £12.  I've worn it with trousers, jeans and shorts so far and the other choices are endless.  Do head back to read all about my new top that I paired over white wide leg pants here.

Up next a sundress from F&F.  This beautiful midi didn't quite hit the spot for me, not for the shape, it's just right for summer but the fabric pattern reminded me of my nans curtains.  Do you agree with me or is this something you'd be willing to wear?

My birthday post had me jumping for joy.  I didn't get many photos - I was too busy enjoying time with the family, and you can read all about how I celebrated being 62 here. X

Have you heard of Halara athleisure wear?  Well you can find out all about this fabulous company that sells all sorts of leisure wear that also suitable for working out in.  I picked these fabulous black waffle trousers and you can see what I thought of them on this post.

Do you have transitional items that can be worn from Spring and through to Summer?  We all have that one piece don't we, and this month the ladies from Style not Age shared there's. Mine is this pretty appliqued jacket that works well as a layer in Spring when the weather is still cool and come the warmer weather it can be teamed over a little cami top to give just that little bit of cover without being too hot.

For my final post I shared some more Halara trousers. These are a pretty pastel lightweight fabric that's almost linen like feel. Take a look at how I styled these wide leg trousers casually and also dressed up for cocktails.

Great to have you stop by, thank you for doing so.
Hope you enjoy today’s look back at last month.
Cheerio for now. X
