Good morning my friends.
Hope June is going well.
Since getting back from The Lake District I’ve been a bit blue! I keep telling myself I’m lucky to have been away but I find it so hard to get back to normal duties. Do you ever feel like that? I seem to feel like it every time I go away nowadays!
Wedding preparations are in full swing with bouquets being put together and some more bridesmaid sample dresses being sorted. I’ve seen a few MOTB dresses but haven’t committed to anything yet! Sophie has got everything under control and I’m so proud of everything she’s done so far, she definitely knows what she wants and deserves the best.
I’m working on a post about my weekend in Keswick soon and will publish that asap, but today I’ll show you my new shoes and bag. They’re from a company called Paradox London, and I can confirm they’re extra comfy, made with exceptional fabrics and their website has loads of pretty choices, I’ll keep them in mind for wedding shoes once I’ve got the dress.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me however these are 100% my own honest comments.
Do you like to match your shoes or sandals and bags? Or do you mix it up? I tend to do both, but more often than not I’ll mix, tones and textures which I know creates a more interesting look. However, I was recently contacted by the lovely people at Paradox London asking if I’d like to review a pair of sandals and clutch bag. Immediately browsed the website and found these lovely sling-backs that have a fancy clutch bag that matches the soft pink leather.
So let me give you the low down on these stunning shoes and bag. The fiorenza * is a wide fit sling back in the softest pastel blush pink and they really are the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve worn in ages. They have a padded sole and an adjustable ankle strap making them easy to put on and are suitable to wear all day! I happily wore them nearly all day on Tuesday paired with my barrel leg jeans.
I decided to style the pink pretties with a floral dress from Matalan. Isn’t it so cute? The floaty midi wouldn’t look out of place at a wedding or christening worn with these stylish accessories. Both pieces are leather, so really good quality, you’ll get plenty of wear from both items. See the Dasha bag here, * which also links to the many other styles Paradox offers.
The midi is a shirt dress and has a really unusual tie detail that ties either in the middle or could be pulled to the side. The short sleeves make this perfect for hot weather and the collar brings a little formality, without being too much. It’s from the new collection in Matalan and is priced at a really reasonable £24 and you can see the short and floaty top that matches here.
