How’s it going?
Thursday already, where did the week go?
Not much to report this week. I’ve done my usual gym classes and am off to ballet this morning, but other than that it’s been very quiet. I had planned on getting a few photos taken this week, but for one reason or another it didn’t get done! I’m needing some new Spring/Summer items to add to what I’ve already got in the wardrobe, but the shops aren’t offering much up. I need to go into town to get a new eyeshadow so will have a look to see what I can find.
I’ve been selling on Vinted recently and am doing fairly well, it’s quite contagious getting rid of my charity piles and even if something only sells for a couple of quid it’s nice to know somethings getting a new lease of life. I’ve also bought a few bits. I found a fab pair of white wide leg jeans from H&M on there and snapped up the bargain for only £10. Such a shame when they arrived and they’re too small! So annoying because I’ve got the same pair in light wash denim which fit beautifully - why does white denim always come up small? I also found a pair of black culottes and paid only £6 for the brand new with tags item, I wore them on Monday to a funeral. I share them with you soon and tell you how the outfit was born.
Do you love a comfy pair of trousers? Then this is just the post for you.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
I’m excited to share a new pair of trousers with you today. This casual pair from Halara has been a brilliant addition to my wardrobe and given the fact that they are so versatile can be worn with trainers for a casual vibe but worn with heels and fancy top you’ve got a perfect night out outfit.
Halara* is a new brand for me only having seen others sharing their styles on Instagram so when I was approached by their team I was instantly intrigued to see what all the hype was about.
I’ve been styling the high waisted pant, that has a stretchy elasticated waist band and deep pockets, are every bit as good as people are saying. I dressed them down by adding flat ballet pumps and a medium weight sweatshirt. The stripes give a Parisian feel and the black chain necklaces added another layer making this a super cute outfit to shop in as well as popping out to lunch with hubby.

How should I make this outfit stand out? Well by adding bright and colourful additions like my block bag,
Now the sun is shining, well it was the other day and a bit yesterday, I’m reaching for my sunglasses all the time. I’ve got quite a collection going on and am excited to say I’ve got three new pairs from Goodlookers * to wear throughout the summer month and probably beyond, do you wear sunnies on dull days? Hold your hair in place too don’t they! Do take a look at the collection online, they also sell ready reader glasses too! 👓🕶️
which is a bold pillar box red. It’s such a brilliant way to it adds interest to a look, as do the silver shoes. I love adding layers like this to give a basic outfit that little bit extra. ✔️

These trousers look like they will be a great wardrobe item! Suzy had mentioned Halara jeans to me a few weeks ago and I have been curious to try them because I am all about the comfort these days. And now with your lovely review of Halara, I probably should give them a try! Thanks for hosting this fun link party, my friend.

I need to grab a couple pairs of sunnies: I like a lightweight pair for running and I never replace the pair I broke last year. I also noticed that the pair I keep in my car is about to come apart. I like to go to TJmaxx for the price and variety. I am loving your halara pants. I know several of the gals swear by them. This is a great outfit!

You look completely fabulous in these trousers! I like how you styled them too.
ReplyDeleteGreat look. Stripes are always cool!
ReplyDeleteBelated Happy Birthday wishes dear Jaqui. And your outfit looks comfortable. I´d rather wear skirts or dresses but a comfortable trouser is always a good alternative.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time and all the best

I have seen many bloggers wearing Halara jeans, but this is the first time I've seen trousers. They look just as wonderful and comfy! I really love the French vibe you created with this look! Thanks for the link up!

Love the pop of red! Yes, not much in the shops at the moment. Good luck with your hunt! x
ReplyDeleteThose trousers are so chic and look incredibly comfortable at the same time, which is honestly the perfect combination. I love how you styled them so effortlessly while still looking polished. Halara really does make great pieces for everyday wear!
ReplyDeleteYou look so chic! That striped top gives the whole outfit such a timeless, Parisian vibe, and that pop of pillar-box red with the bag is absolute perfection. Those Halara trousers look like an absolute dream, especially with the magical "no ironing required" feature. Thanks for the discount code, and have a lovely time at ballet.
ReplyDeleteI've seen Halara trousers online quite a lot recently, they look really comfy. I've been selling on Vinted too - I've got so much stuff to get rid of!
