April Review.

Hi there,
Happy Bank Holiday Monday, it’s May Day in the UK.

I’ve had a super weekend again, filled with family, fun, fizz and laughter. The weather played ball with warmer temperatures and some sunshine, sprinkled with a little bit of rain that the garden needed, but as soon as it arrived it was gone again.
No plans for today. After a hectic couple of days I plan to do very little. I don’t think we’ll venture into town as it always gets so busy, especially if the weather’s fine. Have you anything exciting to do today?

It’s the first Monday of the month, so time to look back on April for the review.
Do let me know what your favourite post was, I’ve featured a mixture of styles and admit finding it hard to pick the best.

Welcome to the April Review.

First post was based around a new knit I didn’t know I needed until it arrived. It was a purchase from Vinted and it’s a piece of the fashion jigsaw that completed loads of looks. Here I framed the M&S fine knit top, which has short sleeves with some old pink jeans, my recent purchase from Primark brought together with a pretty silky scarf. Head over to read all about my week at the beginning of the month here.

Do you like to wear a statement collar? I picked up this beauty in the Matalan sale and marvelled at how nice it looked with my red cropped trousers. Do let me know if this is something you’d wear in the comments. It’s a pretty sheer fabric that’s quite expensive looking but cost under £10! You can read all about this outfit here.

For my next post I wanted to show this stylish blouson bomber jacket off. It was another find on Vinted and this beauty is still available in F&F, Tesco and is the perfect style for Spring and cooler Summer days. Do let me know if you love this style as much as I do!

Up next I shared a co-ord I was gifted from Damart after seeing it in the Spring Summer 26 event in London. I love the bright and cheery colour and know both bits can be styled separately come the next few months making it the perfect addition to a summer holiday suitcase. 💙

I talked about my chaotic week on the blog next and shared this maxi skirt I nabbed in Primark after a quick visit into town. You can see me in my car sharing what’s in the bag. I’d wanted a neutral classic skirt and this one fitted the narrative nicely. You can also see it featured with a few other items here.

Another look at the super cute faux leather jacket, but here I’ve worn wide leg jeans and matched the pretty scarf with a coral cardigan. What do you think of my ensemble?

Penultimate post for April showed you my latest jumpsuit from Peacocks. You might know I’m a big fan of this style especially when it’s got culottes and pockets. Head over to this post to find out all about my Pretty Woman ageless outfit.

Last but not least my recent dress from Izabel London who I’m pleased to say I’m still affiliated with. This classic midi looks super on and fits like a dream. The floaty skirt, high next with pretty diamanté buttons wouldn’t look out of place at a wedding or christening. Is this something you’d wear? Hop back to read all about the rest of the look, and do let me know your opinion.

Thanks so much for dropping in, love having you here. Be sure to stop back on Thursday for the linkup.
Bye for now. X
