Hope you’ve had a super weekend
I’ve been painting! Yes still helping my youngest get his house ready to move into. They’re planning on being settled in this week as that’s when school starts, but we shall see. Anyway the walls and woodwork have been painted and I’ve been stretching and twisting on ladders in all directions - it’s been a proper workout for me! Do I need to go to my gym classes today - I ask myself!
David and I were rewarded with a roast dinner at my daughters yesterday, we’d worked so hard and really needed a home cooked roast which went down really well.
Today I’m back to my classes, (yes I know) and am seeing lots of improvement, especially since dropping the weight! Do you enjoy gym sessions, or working out at home?
As it’s the first Monday of the month, welcome September, it’s time to take a look at last month’s posts for the … August Review.
With nice weather in abundance my first post featured a fabulous sundress from Izabel London. The pale blue and white mix resembles holiday outfits from the Greek islands which I’d be delighted to wear.
My next post featured a special night out with David that was long overdue. We had a last minute visit into Canterbury for a steak dinner followed by drinks in some of our fab pubs. Do let me know what your favourite cocktail is, can you guess what mines is?
Have you embraced chocolate tones yet? No I don’t mean eating - chocolate I mean wearing it! I’m smitten with the shade and can’t get enough of this milky blend. Do you live this mix as much as I do?
Still talking brown tones with my new leopard print dress from Izabel London, you all know how much I enjoy wearing shirt dresses and this one is welcomed addition for Autumn as it’ll fit in very nicely thank you!
Checkout the outfits my three friends and I created around the prompt - Sunset Shades - set by Emma. I picked this two piece that I bought on a trip to Taormina, Sicily. I hope to return soon and maybe find another beauty like this.
My last post for the month was a day late! I had some technical issues so therefore the post didn’t go live until the day after. Thanks to everyone for joining the linkup, it’s been lovely to see what you’ve been doing and wearing. Anyway back to my post. I feature a new pair of jeans - cropped no less, that I plan to change into a pair with a wide turn up! Watch this space to see how I do!

So pleased you could join me, do let me know what outfits stood out from last month and let me know what you’re up to.
Until then cheerio. X
