Relaxing Skincare in Cornwall - Chic & Stylish Linkup

Morning my friends.
How’s your weekend been?

Well mine has been wonderful. I got back from a few days in Amiens on Monday and before my feet could touch the ground again I was off to Cornwall where I’m currently staying in the Pencubitt Hotel with my mum and sister.
We’re visiting my uncle who lives near Lostwithiel. It’s very remote but there’s some lovely places around so we’ll have a nice time exploring. Keep watching IG to see where I am and what I’m up to and I hope it might entice you for a little visit there. I know the weather will be changeable so I’m planning on packing a mixed bag! I need every weather system covered - fortunately we can get quite a lot in the car but I’m sure it’ll be full to the brim! 😂
It’s a girls trip so I’m taking lots of my skincare and beauty gadgets with me. I like to keep on top of my routines but sometimes some of them slip. I know all too well the importance of a decent skincare regime and have noticed a different reflection when I look in the mirror since reaching 60. I’m willing to try all the lotions and potions to improve the look and feel of my skin so I’m always on the lookout for new products. I’ve got tightening creams, smoothing lotions, serums and electrical devices which lift and rejuvenate the skin and I’ll be taking full advantage of the quiet time away where I plan to relax & unwind. The hotel is situated near Liskeard which is a beautiful village in a rural setting and the views are stunning, just right to relax in.

My previous trip last weekend was to France. I took a little casual wardrobe with me which was based around red pieces. Today I’m sharing one of the outfits although I didn’t actually get that many photos but I’ll sharing what I did get photos of in another post.
This is a sponsored post, however all comments are my own honest views.

I wanted an outfit that not only looked good but felt comfortable as well. Trousers are normally the best option and this red pair I recently received were perfect. They’re a wide leg style and having ordered them in a smaller size fit me beautifully. They have pockets and are a trendy cropped length. I popped my fabulous gold pumps on. I love these and they look right with loads of my outfits - I’m taking them away with me to Cornwall too.
My pillar box red trousers are from Klass.  It’s a new to me store but have items that really suit my style. They’re also good quality and are reasonably priced, these* come in at a purse friendly £26! Fitting true to size, the fabric is iron friendly and hardly crease. I kept the colour going by wearing a fancy red tee shirt thus creating a block outfit that I broke up with my tan suede jacket and off-white jumper which I tied around my neck in a scarf like fashion.  My pretty top * is also from Klass and is a relaxed style that matches the bottoms nicely. It’s covered in a lace layer over the top which adds interest to my look.

The moody skies in this next photo didn’t set the tone for the weekend because we had a ball and really didn’t stop laughing. My diet was on hold for the few days
I was there, although I walked for England which must have balanced the food and drink increase! 😂

Watch out for the full post about my weekend in France, I’ll share it soon.
