Style not Age Share Summer Whites.

I’m back after a couple of days in Amiens with David and our good friends. We were celebrating all their 60th birthdays. They took David and me away to the Isle of Wight last year so it was our turn to surprise them!

Summer Whites. 

White outfits are perfect for hot weather and really do scream summer don’t they. Who else returns from their long awaited holiday wearing white? Yes I hold my hands up to this and will carry on doing so even if I’m only a paler shade of white! Lol! 😂 

Today’s look started off with a white cotten dress I’ve worn plenty of times before. I’m smitten with a Maxi and this has been a great look for Summer holidays and casual afternoons for a family BBQ after a days work in the garden, followed by a nice shower. Nothing better than doning a comfortable dress after all the hard work. 

My maxi dress ia from Nomads. I was pleased to receive this classic beauty a few years ago and with every classic style they just don’t date. It’s a lovely style that is sleeveless and has a full skirt which also has nice pockets. 

Here I added a stretchy belt which cinches everything in nicely. It creates a nice feminine shape which is enhanced by the v neckline too. I popped on my tan bomber jacket just because the weather was a bit chilly but this summer beauty looks great with a sultry tan on a summer holiday too. 

The stretchy belt I added has gold hard-wear, so I added my gold pumps into the equation. These are so handy to slip on and feel comfy to walk in too. I took these away for the weekend and walked for miles in them. I love the relaxed look and marvel at the look they create.

Emma - Style Splash opted for a heavenly lace dress that would have everyone gasping at. I need something similar in my wardrobe too!

Hilda from Over the Hilda chose a flattering white skirt which will be a winner in the summer months. Both colour and style are fashionable now and will look super paired with almost anything!
