Geo Print Trousers - Chic & Stylish Linkup.

Hi there everyone.
Hope you’re well and enjoying good times.

The weeks are flying by and I hope the weather will start to improve because it’s been so cold here lately. I’ve resorted to an extra layer and have had to put the heating on at times! How’s the weather where you are?

I managed to get into town on Tuesday. I returned the barrel jeans that I felt were too big for me! Guess what! I tried the same style on but in a different colour (didn’t have the colour I wanted in my size) and they fitted perfectly. Woohoo I can get into a 10!! So I was going to order them online! Unfortunately M&S have had a major problem with their system being hacked so aren’t taking any online orders. I’m not impressed at all - especially as I’m still waiting for a birthday present to arrive! I’ve had no contact with them, so plan on trying to ring or email them tomorrow! Have you got caught up with online orders that are affected by hackers?
So I’m going to have to try my local branch to see if they’ve got any in my size. I did managed to find another gorgeous pair which are white and a carrot style and feel great in them - they’re also a size 10! Watch out for those my friends.

Today I wanted to share a look I adore to wear. My IG post featuring it has the title “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” which is just how I feel about this one. Wide leg trousers, denim jacket over a tee shirt and comfy flats, what’s not to like!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Do you have a particular style you feel at home in? Whether it’s jeans, feminine dress or a two piece suit we all have our go-to fashion loves we feel comfortable in. Maybe it gives you confidence, or maybe it’s literally because it’s so comfy we have to adhere to our inner voice and wear what makes us happy.
I know this style suits me. The wide leg trousers balance out my pear shape and teamed with a fitted tee shirt or jumper gives a flattering finish. Wearing longer length trousers create fluidity for a graceful, effortlessly chic look, so if you’re looking for a feminine outfit, you’re in the right place!

I’ve been pleased to have been gifted the Geo Print trousers * from Izabel London and can honestly say they’re a fab piece that will be perfect in Spring and Summer with sandals and a little top. The fabric is perfect to pack in your case for a holiday when this lady-like look will be a winner. It’s also going to work well on a city break worn with trainers and a sweatshirt, I’ve seen a few plain white casual tops that’ll be a brilliant partnership with them! Should you need a coat, something like my new mac will be a super addition.

So as I mentioned above I wore the palazzo trousers with a white Tee shirt and my old white denim jacket. The main reason to wear something in this way is to balance out the look, it’s also lends itself well to adding layers - especially if the weather is playing tricks!

Wide leg and tee shirts are an all-round acceptable style whatever your shape, just play around with the style of tee shirt in order to find one that you feel comfortable in but also suits your shape. This relaxed style might well work for you instead of this fitted version.
