Looking Hot in Hotter Shoes! - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Good morning my lovely friends.
What's going on in your neck of the woods?
We're still having changeable weather here in the UK, it's so annoying having to dress differently each day - sometimes the same day when the weather suddenly decides to switch temperatures!

We celebrated my youngest daughter's birthday on Tuesday, having afternoon tea in the garden which was prepared by my other daughters (I made some half decent cupcakes along with a birthday cake which went down well). We also had take-out pizzas delivered that evening and had a fun night with the family sharing stories and having a few laughs & drinks along the way.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Last week you might have seen me wearing a fabulous pair of espadrilles.  They are from Hotter Shoes and are an absolute dream to wear.  I can literally wear them all day without so much as a hint of a blister or pinch in sight.  Well I'm delighted to share another pair of wedges with you - these are slightly more dressier & can be worn dressed up or played down depending on where I'm going or what I'm doing.  So far I've worn these in the day time with a navy blouse and my stone culottes and with my jeans, being navy the choice is endless and I'm looking forward to featuring them over the next few weeks.
Today I've teamed the navy wedges, which are aptly named Hawaii* with a stripy beach dress from Matalan.  I thought it was in the sale for £12.50, but checking the till receipt that was the full price - yes I know fantastic!  I just wish I could pack the pair and run off to their namesake destination! Lol
(Late edit: Now reduced to £8)

The tee shirt dress, in navy and white stripes is an ankle length maxi, the beach dress has slinky slits up either side, short sleeves and a classic scoop neck.  It's one of those dresses that just feels good on, easily slips on over the head and hangs with a nice drape. It could be cinched in at the waist with a complimentary coloured belt, but is just as flattering left alone.

I picked a white bag to complete the holiday feel, mine is from a huge selection in T K Maxx.  I'm needing a visit there soon - just to 'have a look' you understand! Ha ha ha. x

By adding a basic string of beads an outfit reaches another level, and really is the finishing touch it needs.  I love the navy, white & pop-of-red ratio in this Breton inspired outfit.

Here's the best bit of the sandals - the pretty flower that sits on the front of each sandal - delightfully different don't you think!

Here's a piccy of the Hawaii cork wedges which are available in sizes 3 - 9 with half sizes from 41/2 to 71/2.  They are now reduced to a hot price of £49 - why not grab a pair ready for when we can get away on holiday! 🤞  They have a super soft upper and spongy cushioned inner sole which feels delicious to walk in, I was worried the peep toe would rub, but again the soft uppers kept any hint of possible pain at bay!  The buckle fastening has a hidden stretch insert creating extra flexibility which equals extra comfort - "winning".
