April Review.

Hi there everyone.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Can you believe it's the first of May?  Where does the time go?
It's Bank Holiday for us here in the UK, and I've not got much planned.  David is working on the new build and I have booked gym classes as usual today, but not sure what we'll be getting up to this afternoon.
Have you got something nice planned for today, do let me know what you're doing.

So as usual at the beginning of the new month I like to take a look back over the previous weeks and recap on what I've been wearing and what I've been doing - stand by for the April Review.

Without further delay shall we dive right in?
I started April sharing some Spring dresses.  I picked up these three stunners in Matalan and any of them will be suitable for summer holidays or special events - I've only got one wedding this year but not sure these are quite what I had in mind, this one especially as I would never try to upstage the bride and wear white! Hop over to the post to see the other choices.

Next I was excited to review some Regatta pieces and this waterproof jacket and graphic T shirt proved winners for this wet month, the coat has a hood attached and has been a worthwhile addition to my coat hook.  Have a look and see what you think - one you'd wear?

A watercolour shirt too centre stage last month when I styled another Salamander shirt.  This beauty I paired over an H & M faux leather skirt that I bought from Vinted.  I've been very lucky with my purchases as I know a few people who've not been so lucky with their buys!

I'm a sucker for a pretty flouncy dress and this stunner from Izabel was no exception. Just look at the swish in this tiered maxi.  I felt ultra feminine in this pale pink and animal print fancy and can't wait to wear it out for a date with David.

I was thrilled to get away for a long weekend skiing with David, we travelled to Valmorel in The French Alps and you can read all about my break in the snow here.

The Style Not Age collective shared some stunning outfits for the new season with the prompt of Bring me Sunshine cheering us all up.  You can read where I got my dress from and let me know if I nailed it or not! I do hope our looks will entice the sun to come and stay, we need a bit of warmth on our skin don't we!

Finally in April I showed off another dress that just fell into my lap, you can find out all about how this came about back on the post I shared last Thursday.  It's a fun story and I'm still shocked how it came about!  I’m not sure I can keep this one, but I suppose I can always borrow it!

Many thanks for being here, it's been fun.
See you on Thursday.
Cheerio for now. X

  1. Isn't it amazing how much happens in a month? Your trip skiing looked like a grand time! And, that yellow/gold dress is gorgeous! Nothing going on here as it's been raining for a couple of days straight and is colder than normal by several degrees! Have a fabulous week!
