Neal's Yard Remedies - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hi there - hope you are well!
What has the week pushed your way?

Last month I was lucky enough to spend a wonderful afternoon with a few lovely friends for a girlfriends birthday.  Even though it was her special day she prepared a lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and freshly baked homemade scones with CLOTTED CREAM & JAM!!! Yummy. Standard table accessory being cups of tea & glasses of fizz plus a bottle of essential hand sanitizer.  We all used the bottle at one stage or another throughout the afternoon but another friend whipped out a cute little spray bottle that smelt out of this world!  I asked what it was and she told me all about the product from Neal's Yard that contained lemon grass & witch hazel - it smelt heavenly.  I fell for it and immediately bought some for myself to spray and sniff whenever I needed or felt like it!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

How cute is this dress I donned for the gathering? Do Stop by on Monday to see all the details about this maxi dress. It's one of the three I bought from Next last month - got to be a winner for my Summer/Autumn collection.  Read about another Next shirt dress I wore for the Style not Age Challenge last month.

I picked up my little bottle of cleansing joy the following week whilst having a cuppa with my friend in the process.  She'd been shielding so it was obviously a distanced drink in her garden.  I was excited to learn about the heady fragrances and how they could help me.  Neal's Yard offer a wide selection of natural organic remedies that include skincare products, body & bath treatments, hand care lotions and creams along with aromatherapy and wellbeing remedies and supports.

I found the spray bottle very helpful, it's handy size means you can pop in a handbag - there's a refill available to keep it topped up. Here's what else I like about it:

  • Kills 99.9% of bacteria.
  • Contains 70% alcohol.
  • Contains a purifying blend of niaouli, lemongrass and witch hazel.
  • Vegan approved.

I was also pleased to learn all the cosmetics, personal care and household products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny Program.
I have to say I've been excited to read about all the products and have a healthy wish list of interesting goodies I'd love to try.

Here's a little insight direct from Neal's Yard themselves:

Established in 1981, Neal's Yard Remedies is a modern apothecary, creating award-winning natural and organic health and beauty.  From small beginnings in a quiet corner of Covent Garden, we're now a global leader with a growing presence across five continents - but remain grounded in our belief that outer beauty and inner health should be in perfect balance.
We use the highest possible percentage of organic ingredients as they are kinder to the earth - and kinder to you.  Using ethically sourced herbs, Botanicals and essential oils our experts handcraft potent blends of love, science and nature.

I've been happily using the Wild Rose Beauty Balm* for a little over a week and have to say I'm really impressed at how my skin looks.  It's a multipurpose beauty must-have that's had my skin glowing and feeling soft and supple.  The one-pot wonder boasts the antioxidant-rich, organic geranium oils and patchouli essential oils will nourish and enhance you skin and give a luxuriously radiant & natural glow.  It also contains vitamin E, Rosehip seed oil and is rich in provitamin A (a source of retinol) all of which are highly beneficial to the skin.
So far I used the balm as an exfoliating cleanser and have left it to soothe my skin for 20 mins - giving it a real boost & here's more ways to use this exciting balm:

  1. Cleanser
  2. Moisturizing Treatment.
  3. Facial Mask.
  4. Lip Balm.
  5. Complexion Highlighter.
  6. Nail Balm.
  7. Heel Softener.
  8. Flight Repair.
  9. Eyebrow Tamer.
  10. Summer Skin Savior

I've also been reviewing Neal's Yard Rehydrating Rose Facial Oil*.

Let's here directly from Neal's Yard about this little bottle of replenishing oil:

This best selling balancing facial oil infuses soothing damask rose and organic oils to give normal skin types a natural revitalising boost.
Facial oils replenish your skin's natural moisture levels while helping protect it from future moisture loss.  They're useful in cold, dry weather when chilly winds and central heating may take a toll on your skin, and excellent during the summer months when your skin may be feeling particularly sun-parched.
  • For normal skin types
  • Soothes whilst balancing skin's natural moisture levels
  • Rich in essential nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins
  • Comes with a pipette for easier application

I've been applying it under my moisturizer in the morning and along with the balm have really noticed an improvement.  My skin feels so different, softer and much smoother.  The dreamy aromas are so welcoming - every time I use them I feel so relaxed - almost like I'm actually in the salon having a facial.  I'm getting together with my friend next week to go over some more of the products, so will fill you in on any further developments.
