Block White and Mint Green Duster - #Chicanstylish #LINKUP

Morning all!
What you up to?
I've had a busy few days with a trip to the beach, a cuppa and catch-up with my best friends and a meeting (today) with my lovely friend who's going to run through a few Neal's Yard essentials with me - you can see my favourite pieces on last week's blog when I shared some exquisite smelling hand sanitizer and rose facial oil.

Even though the weather has been scorching lately today I've decided to think ahead to cooler transitional days and wearing layers - you might have seen a snippet of this outfit that was featured in Platinum Magazine
Do you wear white jeans in every season, yes me too and I reckon they work really well on colder days when the weather is dry.  Here's the type of outfit that will work a treat in Autumn.

You've seen me in white jeans before, these are boot-cut which are nice and classic. They look elegant with a little court shoe, so I chose some cute little snakeskin kitten heels from Vionic. Fitting to the floor this really helps elongate my legs making me look ever so slightly taller!

I wanted to keep a block look so opted for this 'v' neck slinky top from Matalan - I've got this in a few other colours and it's proved invaluable over the years pairing with umpteen pieces to make many interesting outfits.

I've topped today's outfit off with a long line cardigan - I've had this a few years, but this Eva Trends duster doesn't come out very much - it has to work for me and there's only a few ways I like to wear it - mainly over something fitted and not at all baggy like over this black pencil skirt and black slinky Matalan top!  Worn like this makes this a very sophisticated outfit and I feel oh-so-chic when I put it on!

You can see the detail in this photo, the sheer panels make for an interesting jacket, and the sleeve length is just perfect.

Keeping the white theme going I picked a sweet bead necklace that has multiple layers & is rather flattering on an older neck!!  I picked mine up in Spain many years ago, now I wished I bought other shades too!

I've added more texture by way of the clutch bag, it's got a circle cut out pattern over it giving even more depth and interest to my look.

#Chicandstylish #LINKUP time.
