Bonmarche GIVEAWAY - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Good morning my friends.
How are you all today?
I'm feeling chilly today, seems mother nature has insisted on making this Coronavirus situation as difficult as possible - I mean who want's to sit outside when it's freezing cold?  I need to invest in a Firepit I think. 😄
Last month I featured this gorgeous dress from Bonmarche - I ended up with two dresses, so have decided to share one with you my lovely friends. Do join the GIVEAWAY below for your chance to win this lightweight linen beauty.  It's a size 12 tunic style dress with plenty of room so probably would fit a size 14 - both UK sizes or maybe you could gift it to a friend!

I'm excited to say as we speak I'll probably be in the salon having a cut & blow dry!  I've an appointment today and literally can't wait.  You remember I've had it coloured twice, with the help of my daughter, during lockdown, and I have trimmed the fringe myself. It's never the same as the stylist cut is it!  The rest of my hair is in dire need of a cut, it's become long and straggly and doesn't look as good as usual, so I'm happy to be letting a professional loose on my hair again.  My fringe seems to give me a headache at times - does anyone else have that problem?
It'll be interesting to see what happens as I need to wear a mask.  Some months ago I bought a home-made one from a friend making and selling them - didn't dream I'd actually have to WEAR one!  If it looks okay I'll share a piccy on IG 👍 Have you worn a mask yet?  How did you get on with it?
How about this one from Amazon!

So without further ado.
Here's details of the GIVEAWAY ..... Click on the link, it's live for a week with various options to enter.
*****GOOD LUCK*****

  2. Such a cute dress, good luck to everyone entering the giveaway for it! :)

Hope your hairdresser appointment goes well! They never recommended masks in Australia till we had an outbreak in another state - they recommend masks for that state now, and I've bought some from the crafty ladies at the opshop who made some, just in case they say we need to wear them in our state too. They said they might make more as after I picked up a few they only had 6 left. I haven't had to wear them yet though but who knows, things change so much! :)

Thank you for the link up!

Hope that your week is going well :)

  3. I can imagine your excitement of getting your hair done professionally, Jacqui. Luckily, my hairdresser hasn't closed his during the lockdown, just allowed one person inside the salon at a time so I always have my perfect hair. I wasn't wearing a mask but he was and still does. I only wear mine when I do grocery shopping. I like the dress, it's very cute and you look lovely in it.

  6. Fun giveaway, Jacqui, and such a great dress! I love the polka dots! I was just thinking the other day if I need to be embracing the mask thing as a fashion statement. While I wear one when I go out, I only have homemade ones as well that don't match anything I wear! I have been hesitant to go forward with it as a fashion statement thinking it wasn't go to last that long, but I think with affiliate programs I am part of, I may need to start pushing the masks more! Haha.

  8. Such a cute dress! I don't wear a mask unless I enter a business that requires it, then I pull out my American Flag bandana and tie it across my face.

  9. We have a mask mandate in our state. It's a habit now but I still feel like I'm in a strange sci-fi movie sometimes. I remember how great it felt to get a haircut a few weeks ago! Enjoy!

  12. Enjoy your salon visit, Jacqui! I haven't been able to get my hair cut properly at a salon since February, and have taken matters into my own hands, with the help of You Tube videos! It will have to do for now, but would really benefit from a professional!

  16. Hi, Jacqui, as the US has done a lousy job in handling the virus, my family will be wearing them for a long while. I'm an avid seamstress so have been making some for the family in Kaffe Fassett fabric. I consider them as fashion statements and soon as I get this latest family round done, I'm going to make a couple more for myself-that will be unique. You do have to arrange your hair a bit taking them on and off but that not a problem.

I love that dress and it's my size. I'm going to hope that us across the big pond are eligible and going to enter.

I keep trying to persuade my husband to hack the back of my hair but he won't. I just shove it all under one of my wigs.

Take care and stay safe, Terri
