Morning all. 

Welcome to you all and I’d like to wish you a Happy New Year. 

I can’t quite believe it’s 2026, last year flew by. I’ve got a very exciting year ahead. You see my daughter is getting married in August so there’s lots of plans and preparations along with finishing off the new build. It’s really starting to take shape, we’re at the first fixing & plaster-boarding stage with plastering on the horizon. I’ll be looking for a kitchen and paint swatches before long!

I’ve also got to get my dress planned for the wedding too. I’ve worn blue to three of my children’s weddings and had an idea to go for something different but until I see it I’m keeping my options open!

With the weather apparently getting very cold I wanted to show off a stunning scarf I’d been given. It’s from the small selection at Damart and came in the goody bag I received at the WS preview last September .

How’s your week going?

Don’t the weeks seem to fly by now? It’ll be Christmas before I know it so I might be starting my gift buying soon! As always I’m excited to get my tree up and the house decorated, but I’ll hold fire on that for a few weeks more! Lol. 

Today I thought this cool outfit needed some love. 

I’m all over the wide leg trousers so when I saw these in my local F & F I had to go back and buy them! They sit nicely with my elegant candy stripe shirt.

I went to the Panto!

Oh no you didn't!
Oh yes I did, with my three daughters and princess. We had a wonderful girls afternoon out, great to have a little girly time!
For those who aren't familiar with the Pantomimes in the UK read on to find a little bit about our Pantomime tradition.
Okay so a Panto is a musical comedy stage production, traditionally for all the family to watch over the Christmas & New Year period.   Modern Pantomimes feature gender-crossing actors, combining topical humour with a story that's loosely based on a well know fairy tale, children and parents are encouraged to join in with singing & shouting out of phrases.  Confused?  yes lots of people are.  We had a lovely afternoon out watching Peter Pan, which was full of dancing, singing, jokes and acrobatics,  we all loved it - although princess did ask when were we going home about half way through!
