Co-Ord from Primark - Chic & Stylish Linkup.

Morning all.
How are you?

Have you had a great week? Mine’s been busy and I’m longing for a bit of a break so I can switch off for a bit. I’m excited to say I’m away at the end of the month. I’m taking David to the Lake District for a long weekend for his birthday. We’ve always wanted to go, so it’s all booked with a super hotel and lots of exciting things to discover. Have you ever been? Do give me some tips for the place.

I know it’s more of a destination for walking holidays, and that’s not something that really appeals to us, so we’ll be heading to the local shops, pubs and restaurants along with seeing the stunning views - I’m even taking a little sketch pad with me! Not that I’m any sort or artist! I’ll share on Stories and a dedicated post next month.

This might be a top contender for my weekend suitcase. I bought this co-ord in Primark on Tuesday, might have to go back for the other colours too! 😉

Co-Ord from M&S - Chic & Stylish Linkup

Morning all.
How are you my friends?

Mixed weather here as always, yesterday was beautifully sunny but the wind was up, the day before was positively horrible - very overcast and drizzly.  I had my hygienst appointment, which was wonderful - my teeth have looked so much brighter and cleaner since - it's totally worth the cost!
Gym classes as usual, which I'm really enjoying atm.  I go from hating the classes to not being able to get enough and wanting to go to more!  My classes include, spin, pilates, Body Attack and Legs, Bums and Tum's.  I do two on Monday and two on a Wednesday which works for me because it actually takes so much time out of the day.  I'd go everyday if I'm honest, but it doesn't leave much time for anything else!

You will remember I told you about a co-ord I picked from Marks & Spencer on Monday. Well I thought you’d like to see it featured today.

August Review.

Morning all.
Hope you’ve had a super weekend

I’ve been painting! Yes still helping my youngest get his house ready to move into. They’re planning on being settled in this week as that’s when school starts, but we shall see. Anyway the walls and woodwork have been painted and I’ve been stretching and twisting on ladders in all directions - it’s been a proper workout for me! Do I need to go to my gym classes today - I ask myself!

David and I were rewarded with a roast dinner at my daughters yesterday, we’d worked so hard and really needed a home cooked roast which went down really well.
Today I’m back to my classes, (yes I know) and am seeing lots of improvement, especially since dropping the weight! Do you enjoy gym sessions, or working out at home?

As it’s the first Monday of the month, welcome September, it’s time to take a look at last month’s posts for the … August Review.

With nice weather in abundance my first post featured a fabulous sundress from Izabel London. The pale blue and white mix resembles holiday outfits from the Greek islands which I’d be delighted to wear.

Style not Age enjoy Sunset Shades.

Morning everyone
Hows your Bank Holiday Weekend going?

We actually went out on Saturday night. We had dinner with friends in a new local restaurant and had a wonderful time and a fantastic meal! There was a 40th birthday party at the next table which turned out to be someone I knew. We joined in some of the celebrations and I even got to have a little boogie! Copious amounts of fizz was consumed and the next morning was relatively slow. I soon brightened up after helping my daughter clean the AirBnb and after shopping for roast beef ingredients prepared, with chef David, a delicious dinner complete with Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes. I was completely stuffed so spent the evening relaxing on the sofa before an early night. How did you spend your Sunday? Today is Bank Holiday Monday and both David and I decided to do absolutely nothing! Let’s see how that pans out! lol!

The last Monday of the month can only mean we take a look at what the Style not Age ladies have planned for us.  This month’s theme fell into Emma’s lap and she gave us the delightful prompt of Sunset Shades.
