Hi there ladies.
How’s it going
I’ve been such a busy lady recently. Weekends away with wedding prep has made getting posts out hard work if not non existent. So this post has been a bit rushed even though the challenge, which was set by me, was made weeks ago!
It’s been all about weddings in the Mummabstylish household so it was an easy choice to include Wedding Wear for the Style not Age prompt this month. Do scroll to see what my three friends picked for their choices.
I’ve been buying lots of dresses from Vinted recently and this BNWT Girl In Mind dress was one of them. I bought it for the hen weekend but decided, as one of the shoulders was quite tight, it would be a better option for the UK hen which we celebrated on Saturday. Checkout this one that’s similar.
The fitted dress has a shapely ruched effect across the tummy area, which is always a really flattering detail. I love the drop shoulder effect. It’s a style that I find myself reaching for again and again. It’s great for top arm coverage and you can see my elegant maxi that started the obsession here.
I popped on chunky jewellery in gold which worked really nicely with the colour blend of my dress, silver just wouldn’t have worked! Cream mules and leather clutch were the finishing touches, I’m just sad I didn’t get any more piccys!
Shall we see what Anna picked? This pretty co-ord is from Zara, as are the mules. Such a great relaxed outfit for an alternative wedding. Find out more of her look on this post.
Hilda went for this stunning red outfit. We have similar taste and this is some I’d be giving serious thought to as well! Read all about her wedding look on the blog post at Over The Hilda.
Finally, here’s what Emma chose. Here pretty Izabel dress looks perfect for any big day and the calla shoes are an excellent addition. See more about this look at Style Splash.
Thanks for coming to see me today. Do let us know what you’d be picking for a wedding, we’d love to hear more.
Don’t forget to stop by on Thursday for the linkup.
Cheerio my friends. X

What a fabulous Vinted find, Jacqui! I love the colours. It looks beautiful on you! And, I agree, I'd be tempted by Hilda's red dress too! So exciting to be involved in a wedding! Is it your daughter's? Sorry...I've obviously missed all your news lately!!

What a beautiful dress, Jacqui! I'm sure no one thought you were overdressed. I think it's better to be overdressed anyway, don't you? I hope you have a wonderful week!

It's a great theme! I love seeing what people wear for wedding and figuring out what to wear myself. I have two weddings to attend in the next month and a half and have my outfits decided. This is one beautiful printed dress! Pink is such a great choice for you! Lovely!
