Argyle Jumper From Tu Clothing - Chic & Stylish Linkup

Morning everyone.
Hope you are all okay.

Another week that’s flown by!
Where does the time go!

My life seems to be busier than ever now. Family life is hectic but I love it. Spending time with the kids and their families is lovely. There’s always something going on and I’m needed in so many different ways that I never expected. For me that’s the beauty of my over fifty blog. I can do it when I want to and when I have the time and should I be needed elsewhere I can leave it. Although lots of the time it’s harder to get back into it!

Today’s outfit started off with the argyle jumper. I found it in Tu clothing and it’s been hanging in my wardrobe for a few weeks. I finally found the right skirt with my burgundy faux leather midi - a great look don’t you think!

You’ve seen this pleather skirt before when I styled it with grey and then tan. It’s a flattering style which is A line and looks super on most figures. It’s from Izabel London and this budget friendly skirt is also available in cream! It’s a classic style that looks elegant and chic paired with feminine shirts and fitted jumpers, but will work just as well with a sweatshirt and trainers.

I picked up the jumper in Tu Clothing a few weeks back and as I mentioned above, it’s been hanging in my wardrobe. When I flicked through and saw it I knew it would be perfect! I like that it’s short sleeves. They’ll be great for Spring when the temps are a tad warmer … hopefully. The argyle pattern, which is a diamond shape in pretty bright pink interspersed with burgundy - a brighter look for Spring.

I matched my burgundy bag which is a moc croc pattern. It’s a very chic style, boxy with a flap closure over the front and sturdy gold hardware - not un-similar to a mulberry! It’s got a longer strap inside, so it can be worn safely over the body or hang from the shoulder.

Brown boots finished off the outfit, these have a black swirl over them, which almost gives the illusion of being burgundy. They have a wearable block heel, pointed toe and are a pull on style. I found these M&S boots on Vinted!

  6. Burgundy is a rather chic color, further enhanced when you wear it. As in another post, the black color of your hair goes so well with this outfit. Please, Jacqui, do not change anything...

  7. Great transitional outfit, Jacqui! The argyle pullover in the pink and burgundy colors is a great way to bring this pattern, that is usually relegated to fall and winter into spring. Thanks so much for the favorite mention, and hosting the link up. Hope you have a lovely weekend!
