Sorry no post again on Monday, after getting back to a busy household on Sunday (I've been skiing) it didn't leave much time for blogging and I felt so tired after the early morning - we got up at 3.15 am!!
It's also been a busy week, so much so I've not been to my usual gym classes. There's so much to catch up on after a week away. I'd missed a couple of birthdays, so had to drop cards and gifts off, along with doing the washing, ironing etc and yesterday I was in London to view the Summer collection from Damart. It wasn't really a long day, but lots of walking and plenty of talking - I was quite worn out last night!
With better weather on the horizon I'm really looking forward to getting into Spring clothes. I'm planning on going through my wardrobe's again. I've got so much stuff it's often hard to find just what I want, sometimes forgetting just what I have. I need to get it into more of an orderly fashion so wish me luck for that one! Lol.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
You might recall I love wearing jeans and you'll tend to find me sporting them most of the cooler months. I've been loving the barrel leg* styles over the past year and I'm pleased to share my latest light wash pair with you today.
They're from a company called Blue Vanilla and I recently shared a stunning lemon midi dress from them with you. Pop back to take a look at my dreamy pleated dress here.
So the barrel leg has proved popular over recent months. If you’re not familiar with the look, they’re fitted on the waist and hips with a wide leg shaped like a … barrel! Then they go in at the ankle for a more fitted feel. Barrels are rather flattering for most shapes and work well with sandals and flat shoes alike. I have added heels in this post and reckon it elevates the look to a more glamorous styling. I also popped my new jacket over them, it's soft faux leather that has a pebble effect. I love the collar though. It's called a funnel neck and I like the way it feels so snuggly but looks quite chic as well.
My jacket* will work very nicely for the next few weeks when the temperatures can still be very changeable - how often do you still need a jacket in May! So this stunner wont be far from me when I'm 'out out'. Priced at a very reasonable £60. Detailing like the high funnel neck, pockets and epaulets wrapped up in dreamy soft faux leather makes this a no-brainer to add to your collection.
Is this something you’d wear my friends?
