February Review.

Hello my friends.
Hope to find you well.

How did your weekend fair? Mine went by in the flash of an eye. I was looking forward to a lovely weekend and then found myself on Sunday evening frantically writing this blog post!

Friday evening was spent learning the second part of the ballroom dance at my weekly class. We continued learning the foxtrot, the social dance that’s full of fast and slow movements which twist and turn at a fairly fast pace. I managed to grasp all the moves and as usual throughly enjoyed the whole dance. We generally learn a dance in two to three weeks and then move onto a new routine. The dance club also arranges dance events every month, but I never join them because they’re at the weekend - I don’t like to leave the family as my weekends with them and David are so precious. Do you like to spend all your weekends with the family?

Sunday, after helping Sophie at a cake sale for a well deserving cause, was spent with some of the kids and grandkids for a chicken roast. I’d prepared most of the vegetables before leaving and upon returning home, in the afternoon, I helped David complete the dinner. We had roast chicken and potatoes, with cauliflower cheese, carrots, swede, roasted parsnips and Yorkshire puddings, accompanied by stuffing and bread sauce. Do you have to have all the accompaniments when you have a roast?

As it’s the beginning of a new month I always have a post that looks back on the previous month and I like to share what I got up to. So welcome to the …
February Review.

Such a short month it seems like only yesterday i shared this gorgeous co-ord from Marks & Spencer. I’ve heard it’s in demand so I’m pleased I managed to find this outfit.
Do let me know if you preferred it together or separately!

The next post for Feb featured an outfit more befitting a milder Spring day. The neutral trousers were a sale find in F&F and I even managed to wear my dolly shoes that are a bit holey! I can’t wait for warmer weather to arrive so I can wear things like this everyday, it’s so much nicer when the temperatures go higher up the scale! What are you longing for my friends?

My next post showed off me having a play about with Chat GPT. Do check out all the piccys it made for me. I admit I had so much fun doing this and comparing the different choices Chat made for me was hilarious!

Up next was me in a striking Argyle Sweater from Damart. Do let me know what your preferred look is!

I’m excited to start wearing this gorgeous padded jacket come the warmer weather. It looks super with my navy trousers and burgundy skirt, but reckon my light wash jeans will compliment it nicely.

Style not Age’s turn next. We shared our red looks last month proving we were ready for February! Do head back to see how this look came about and you can also see what Hilda, Emma & Anna wore, let us know what you think in the comments please. 🙏

I’ve got so many bags but always have room for another!
I’m sure I’m not alone though! I love having a bag for every outfit, but reckon this pretty shoulder bag, that’s in a flattering shade of French navy, will get plenty of airtime throughout the coming months. I also have a discount code for this beauty or anything else on the Elie Beaumont website! Do head back to read all about it and also grab the code. 🌸

Good to have you here this week, hope your week goes well. Do join me for the linkup on Thursday until then have fun.
Bye for now. X
