Morning everyone.
How’s your week going?
Don’t the weeks seem to fly by now? It’ll be Christmas before I know it so I might be starting my gift buying soon! As always I’m excited to get my tree up and the house decorated, but I’ll hold fire on that for a few weeks more! Lol.
Today I thought this cool outfit needed some love.
I’m all over the wide leg trousers so when I saw these in my local F & F I had to go back and buy them! They sit nicely with my elegant candy stripe shirt.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
These fancy trousers look far more expensive than the £22.50 they cost. I’m excited to see what fab styles will come forward when I start delving into my wardrobe and you can see various tops I’ve already styled them with here.
This outfit mixes masculine and feminine for a confident and charming finish. I started with the trousers and teamed a recent gift from Salamander Shirts with them.
My tailored trousers have a flattering pleated either side and belt loops - I love belt loops as I often wear a belt and like them to sit in place. The length is good too, they sit well for a low heel like I’ve worn here. There’s so much potential, I’ve already paired them with trainers for a relaxed edgy look. I’m interested to see what they’ll look like with these new style flats too!
Let’s talk shirts! I’ve been delighted with the shirts I’ve previously styled from Salamander Shirts, so I knew from the moment I opened the parcel this one*would be eye catching. The quality is spot on, as are the prices, they starts at £35! I’m impressed with the three button detail on the bust line, this negates any gaping - a problem I know lots of you have to deal with.
Salamander’s Shirts wash and iron really well, there’s nothing worse than anything that shrinks or creases too much, this does neither, it’s actually a joy to iron (who else likes ironing? Just me then!) Do have a look at the other styles on the website as they have shirts that are a little bit different from each other, this fabric can also be found in an open neck version if you fancy a casual option.

DeleteI love the pointy heels you paired with these pants. That grey is such a pretty color. I haven't worn a pair of pants with pleats in a while and I am not sure whether I would like the fit. I will have to try soon.
