December Review.

Hiya, and welcome to Mummabstylish and welcome to the first post of 2023!

How did your weekend go?
Mine was both chilled and busy.  Nothing much happening on Friday as dancing isn't on until next week and I'm going to be ready for it.  Saturday was my grandson's birthday, so we went to see him after he'd been out for the day with my daughter and her family.  We stayed for a take out pizza and returned home to watch Maverick and see in the New Year.  It was really chilled and relaxed and just what we needed to be honest.
On Sunday we had a roast with some of the kids and my mum.  A normal hectic day which was wonderful as always.  The weather has been pants here, tipping it down one minute and dry the next, typical British weather eh!
Today I'm sure I'll be getting ready to get back to normal and hopefully get some classes booked at the gym as I'm starting my diet this week, wish me luck!  I'm looking forward to styling and using some of my Christmas presents, I got a couple of nice pieces along with some new lighting for my dressing room.  I'm hoping my photos indoors will be much better using it.
Have a chilled day and I'm excited to see you on Thursday for the first #Linkup of 2023.

It's the first Monday of the year and can only mean it's also the first Monday of the month and that can only mean looking back at December for the ....

December Review.

I was excited to share this puffer maxi with you at the beginning of the month, which was an absolute winner for my trip to Germany.  Come read about this stylish, warm stunner over here.

Next I talked about my coat and how suitable it was for my weekend in Germany - hope you'll stop by to see and hear about Baden Baden and what I got up to!

I was out for afternoon drinks next and wore this stunning blouse and faux leather jean combination.  Both felt good and the top got some lovely comments - isn't that nice when that happens!  Do stop by to read about it, I know it's gone into the sale and will be the perfect companion to loads of trousers and skirts. x

Come check out all the details for my Jacquard jacket on the blog.  This is going to be a brilliant addition to my blazers and I can't wait for the weather to improve so I can don it again. x

Another blog post, another coat!  Well it is the season for keeping warm isn't it, reckon I'll do so in this boucle beauty too!  Come read all about my gifted coat, it's still available if you want to get your own!

Have you ever had a bra fitting?  Well you can read all about mine on this blog post.  My trip to Bluewater to the Rigby & Peller store was a wonderful experience and well worth a try.  Let me know what you think!

My final post for December fell on Boxing Day.  I shared a shiny, sparkly top for the challenge set by Anna from the Style Not Age collective - the prompt was Sparkle and Shine and I think I achieve the goal, what do you think?

Did you notice my winter white outfit above?  Well that was the dress I found in Germany!  I’ve wanted something like this for ages and was pleased to find it in the boutique for only €28, I think I got a bargain didn’t I! You can read all about it here.  I wore it on Christmas Eve for our traditional drinks and dinner.

Huge thanks to you all for joining me, I hope you'll be by my side for the rest of  '23.  I'm sure it's going to be a busy one again. X
See you on Thursday for the first #Chicandstylish #LINKUP of the year!
Cheerio for now. X

  1. Isn't it amazing to see how much you did in one month? I'm going to keep track and do a monthly review, too (at least, I plan to do so). I love that dress from Germany! It fits you perfectly! That jacquard jacket is amazing, too!

  2. Lovely month of December! I love all of your new pieces but especially that white/cream dress and puffer and the jacquard jacket. And I always enjoy hearing about your adventure. By the way, your indoor pictures are always really good: I cannot for the life of me get good ones. I probably has to do with my lighting and having lots of busy walls.
