March Review.

Morning my lovely friends.
How ya' doing?
Happy Easter Monday.
Did you have a nice Easter weekend break?
How many Easter eggs have you eaten?  I only got one and that was after lots of big hints to hubby and nearly having to buy it myself - lol.  I usually receive one from my mum, but she hasn't been out yet so didn't get one from her!  Ohhh I sound like a spoiled child don't I!!!!
The children enjoyed their Easter Egg Hunt 🐇🥚  If you follow my IG stories you may have seen my trail.  They had lots of eggs to enjoy, so I hope they didn't eat too many and make themselves ill!!!

Time for the March Review.
It's scary to think we are in April already, I just hope and pray that things keep heading in the right direction and we can continue our route out of lock-down.
A new month also means I can share last month's blog posts.
In this post you can read about what I've been obsessing over, I had a busy month that was filled with all sort of emotions.  I sadly lost my darling little Jack Russell Roxy after her being by my side for nearly 16 years.  Also I had a special little lady arrive some ten days early.  She's gone a long way to mend my broken heart. 💖

But first let's start with a vest top.  There's a few different terms for this little jumper and I've been interested to find out what you call them!

I shared this new addition with you at the beginning of March and am still not 100% sure it's name.  I call it a tank top, otherwise it can be called vest, spencer or sleeveless jumper.  Whatever it's called I love it.  It makes a nice alternative to a jacket or cardigan to keep me warm.  Layers are perfect for the transitional period.  You can also see when I styled my navy version with my new pleated skirt.

Another Winterised dress next.  I have plenty of summery, floaty dresses and hate not being able to wear them when it's cold.  I popped this chunky red sweater over my mustard floral making it suitable for chilly days.  The boots were the perfect finishing touch.

March was the month I also celebrated my fifth blog anniversary.  Five whole years of blogging has taught me an awful lot and I'm proud of what I've achieved.  I also shared this super green floral dress and knee length boots.  They were a present for Mother's Day and the cream boots have been a wonderful addition to my boot collection and have taken pride of place in my dressing room. x

I shared my lovely long boots with you again for my next post, paired with another dress from Next.  I've got all sorts of fabulous ideas for my boots running around my head and just love how these will take me right through to Summer when the weather calls for them.
Here they've picked out the chalky white in my patterned dress, such a welcomed addition don't you think.  I also added my white coat which you can see here on the post. X

I was excited to share some beauty products with you next.  Oia Anti Wrinkle patches, the LumiSpa and Lumity Restful Nights Booster were all very interesting and you can read all about my views on them via this link.  Do pop over for a quick read. X

Finally I ended March with an outfit based around the prompt Borrowed from the Boys!  I got together with my four friends from the group Style not Age  I opted for a suit with my son's Tee shirt, I like the relaxed feel and sprinkled femininity by adding my pink trainers.  It's all worked a treat and ticked all the right boxes for me, I felt so liberated in this manly outfit that still looked girly. 💗

Thanks for joining me for my review, Esther took some of the piccys for me - a big thank you to her. X
Do stop by on Thursday for the #Chicandstylish #LINKUP
I'm off to finish my Easter Eggs now - ha ha ha!
Bye, bye for now. X

  4. All such great ideas for transitional spring outfits! We lost a darling Jack Russell Terrier some years ago and recently adopted a mix. He is so fun and very demanding--typical of the breed! It is terribly sad to lose these little furry family members. So sorry, Jacqui.
