Chocolate culottes & Blush Blouse - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hi there my lovely followers.
Hope you've been lucky enough to enjoy some sunny weather over the past few days.
It's been exciting to wear dresses and jackets and feel the sun on me.  It's also been lovely to start easing out of lock-down little by little.  The figures seem promising and are heading in the right direction, but who knows how things will pan out!
It's Easter weekend coming up and I'm planning an Easter egg hunt in the garden for the gran-kids.  I never actually had time to do this for my kids, but am pleased to have more time on my hands to arrange a hunt for my darling grand-babies.  I've got plenty of different sized chocolate eggs, little coloured buckets and some face masks my daughter found.  I can't wait to see their little faces hunting out the goodies.  All kids love chocolate don't they, as do their Nanny's ... I do hope my hubby has bought me one too - hint, hint.

Talking of chocolate, I thought I'd show you my new culottes again.  I first wore them for the Faux Leather - Style not Age challenge.  Today I've added blush pink to the equation and love how it's softened the brown culottes even more, creating a harmonious feel.

I've found these chocolate trousers a nice alternative to black. It's a joyous colour to wear - especially in Spring.  Pairing so well with pastel shades like this pale blush blouse.  This is the one my sister gave me and I love just everything about it.
It has a high stretchy neckline so there's no need for any kind of opening or fastenings it just slips over the head.  I find this easy to wear and very flattering.  It has long sleeves and little buttons at the cuff & the chain pattern makes it an expensive looking blouse.

I tend always to wear some sort of necklace and you might remember this one from a few of my previous posts.  I also adore wearing pearls, and I've just found this on the Debenhams site - what do you think?

My outfit was finished off with a pale pink Houston bag and nude court shoes - keeping everything on a neutral keel but keeping it interesting with lots of textures.

Today I've added blush pink to the equation and love how it's softened the brown culottes even more, creating a harmonious finish.

Seeing the back of my hair I'm just about at the end of my tether with it now, it's just too long and not in the best condition so I'm very thankful to have an appointment for 22nd April.  I've trimmed my fringe a little but am reluctant to touch the rest of it!  Fingers crossed everything opens up as planned - if not I don't know what I'll do!!! 😖✂
