Cold Blue Dress with Glitzy Drop Earrings and Icy Accents.

Morning all.
All good with you my friends?
Well my decorations are down, everything is getting back to normal and I'm just about seeing the bottom of the washing pile. 🤣  Now I'm starting to get a bit excited, you see the countdown is now on for my skiing holiday.  This year we are off to Sestriere, Italy.  The skiing will be fine so long as there's some snow, but it will be interesting to explore the town, restaurants and ... bars! Lol.  There's plenty of bags in the loft with all sorts of ski gear in, guess what I'll be doing over the next couple of weeks?? 😏
But here's one outfit I wont be taking with me, my suitcase will be packed with jeans, jumpers, tee shirts and ski gear - I can't wait!

Do you remember me sharing some sparkly earring and a striking bracelet last week?  I also gave you a snippet of these glamorous drop earrings when I teamed them with sequins & my leather look skirt.
I'd like to show my glitzy gems along with my cold blue pleated dress and icy accessories.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Stuck for gift ideas or wedding accessories?  When I checked out the vast collection of jewels on the Lace and Favour website I was surprised at the choice, all the pieces slightly different, all are stunning and plenty caught my eye.  I settled on these perfectly sized drop CZ earrings.  The Eliza earrings* are bright and shiny droplets with smaller pave crystals around the edges.

Let's take a moment to talk about my dress,  It's quite a few years old & was bought from a local outlet store.  The make is Jacques Vert, exceptional quality and oh-so-chic & stylish. (I love this one).   I wore this a few years ago to my grand-daughters Christening.  Cobalt blue is a flattering colour as is this style - very classic and comfortable I might add.  The fitted bodice is a cross-over style, but the best bit is the pleated midi skirt.  It feels beautifully swishy when I move because of the amount of material used, and it looks very elegant too - I'm toying with the idea of maybe having this style for my next wedding outfit (wedding in June, so I'll keep you informed!)

Back to my darling earrings, they have a drop of 4cm making them really stand out for the timeless & classic piece of jewellery they are.  They look far more costly than the £45 price tag & with the luxurious presentation box you'll receive them in you'll be delighted with the look and quality you'll get.  They would make an impressive gift for a bride on her wedding day, or an anniversary present for that special person.

Final touches to make my outfit sing are some icy additions by way of silver heels (similar here) and my shiny Zara bag, both get plenty of use are the shoes are very comfortable and the bag adds interest whenever I use it - catch when I wore it as a belt bag here.

Many thanks for stopping by today, I am so happy that you too time to visit.
Esther Ruby took my photos for me, cheers for that. X
