Bonmarche Skirt, Blouse & 'must have Jacket'.

Morning ladies,  how's it going?
Things are going well for me.
I had a wonderful night out on Saturday, we stayed in Tenterden, which is about an hour away from where I live.  Our evening plans were to ride on the Kent and East Sussex Railway which included a five course meal.  Pop back on Thursday for the full post plus the #chicandstylish #linkup

Recently I was very kindly asked to pick a few pieces from the new Bonmarche Spring collection and this jacket was top of my list.  Laurie from Vanity and Me Style also has the same jacket - great minds eh?  I have to say it's definitely the 'must have jacket'* of the season, and if you want a new jacket and only buy one I suggest you pick this one!  Season appropriate because it's going to compliment more-or-less any outfit.  You can dress it up with a flattering skirt or dress it down with jeans.  Have you guessed I love my new PU addition? PU-abulous!! Lol

I've paired the navy jacket with these other pieces I picked from the Spring collection at Bonmarche.
Wanting more skirts in my wardrobe to be spring ready I chose this floral printed marl skirt*.  I love the length on me, just below the knee gives a tidy finish.  It's an A line with a slight flair which, again is more flattering for me.  Marl materials give a softer casual feel, with the floral pattern picking our pretty pink and almost a turquoise blue, so there's a couple of other colour schemes to match with it.  A stretchy elastic waist is so appropriate for my age group, comfortable but also hidden - I hate actually seeing an elastic waistband. In sizes 10 - 24, the cute skirt is now reduced to £15, but be quick it's selling fast with some sizes already sold out!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

My third choice, from the Bonmarche website only, was this oh-so-pretty candy pink blouse*.
The plain relaxed fit shirt can either be worn neatly tucked into a skirt as I have shown it, or the long line dipped hem shirt can be worn over jeans for a casual look.  I will be wearing this with my frayed jeans and trainers for a laidback, informal look.
What about the cute collar and V neckline?  They leave enough room for a dainty necklace - I chose pearls, but plenty of other options would look equally as good.
Picking out the pink from my skirt they make perfect companions, topped off with the navy jacket - well it's a match made in heaven, Bonmarche heaven.  This also comes in three more superb colours yellow, navy and ivory the last two will also look brilliant with the floral skirt too!  In sizes 10 - 22 it's a steal at only £22. (Online only).  Candy coloured tops at candy shop prices. 😁

Yet again I've opted to wear my pale pink ankle boots from Primark, I literally have worn these SO many times and they cost me hardly anything.  I even had a lady say "nice boots" when having the photos taken!  See them here with Grey skirt and pink jacketwith my Chanel Style jacketpretty in pastel pink and recently on my Style Steal.

Here's a close up of my delightful jacket.  It looks and feels like it could be real leather it's so soft, with great detailing and front pockets.  All this for a likeable £35.  Also available in khaki, which will be a fabulous match for the pink blouse too.

Here's some of my other posts featuring Bonmarche: Plisse & cover-up, Maxi dress and kimono, Polka dot challengeJeans with a floral top.
Thanks to Esther Ruby for the photos, fabulous as always. X

Catch up with you on Thursday for the #chicandstylish #link, I do hope you'll pop over and join the party.
Bye for now. X
