Bonmarche Wide leg & Sunflowers #LINKUP

Morning lovelies, are you ready for the #chicandstylish #linkup?
I'm looking forward to seeing your offerings this week, I'm sure they'll be full of sunshine and bright colours, but if not don't worry because I love seeing all your looks!

Today I wanted to show off this beautiful sunflower top, if this doesn't remind us of lazy summer days, I don't know what will!  Although I'm hoping the weather yesterday was a sign that it's changing for the better, I was so bloomin' hot, all the doors and windows open it was a real treat!
I had the pleasure of looking after my prince and princess yesterday as mummy and daddy had to go out.  Well it was full of laughs - mostly at my expense!  Spending about 10 minutes trying to put up the buggy - why are they so difficult until you realise just how easy they are (upon checking YouTube lol)!
I also spent about 20 minutes looking for my phone, convinced princess had hidden it.  I could hear it ringing behind me but could not find it ... yes you've guess, it was in my back pocked - one red faced nannie right here! 👋 ... he he he.

How pretty is this Sunflower Bardot Gypsy* top?  When asked to pick a few items from the latest collection from Bonmarche I was stunned at the amount of goodies I wanted!  They really have upped their game over recent years and it's shining through in all the garments. Here's my previous choices.

Items with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

I wanted this top as soon as I saw it.  It's right up my street with the right fit, length of sleeve and gorgeous sunflowers over it.  It reminds me of the sunflowers I used to see when driving through France.  I loved how they all faced the sun and seemed to follow it across the sky.
The pretty Bardot neckline is just so wearable.  Not a full OTS which can be rather difficult to wear but this top sits in just the right place. Available in sizes 10 -24 it's a snip at £24, added to the clothes I've already got i'll have quite a few smart & elegant outfits too.  I've already got ideas to pair it with my mustard culottes which I've already worn with grey & also with my H & M patterned blouse.  Watch out for some new ensembles in the not-too-distant future.

I also favoured these stylish wide leg trousers*, I've kinda been there and done that but forgotten just how much I love them.  They are so flattering for any body type, especially my pear shape.  Wearing heels and getting a longer length makes your legs appear longer too.
Again in sizes 10 - 24  & four leg lengths, they are not only perfect for everyone, but have a perfect price too - just £22!
With a matching tie belt that has a metal trim on the end, giving the finishing touch to these classic, timeless trousers.

With a black square bead necklace and ivory ankle boots to complete my outfit, this has to be one of my top ten outfits this year, I know you'll be seeing these trousers again and again!

Time for the #chicandstylish #linkup.
But first last week's favourite.
Mary The Pouting Pensioner has shared her outfits featuring coral, such a vibrant spring colour that she looks wonderful in.  Her white dress get's me dreaming of summer sun, warm breezes and meals outside,  I do hope you'll stop by and see what other coral delights she's sharing.

  5. Jacqui, this top is so pretty! It's like a shot of Summer in very cold Spring! And it makes me smile! By the way, I have totally had moments like that with my phone. Many years ago when cell phones were the tiny little flip ones, I was walking through a store and my phone started ringing. I literally could not find it anywhere. I finally said to another customer in the store, "I hear my phone ringing and I can't find it." She looked at me all confused and replied, "Um..it's in your hand." And that is a true story!

  15. Jacqui, first I was laughing at your story about your phone. Mainly because I have done this with my glasses. I frantically searched for them after taking abath, only to later realize, they were on my head! haha
LOVE this top on you, the sunflowers are springy and it looks so lovely with these trousers. I love adding some yellow to my spring, summer wardrobe.
