Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger for the over Fifties - What real women wear!

Wednesday in the Woods.

Wishing you all a Good Morning.

If you saw my post on Monday catch it here you'll remember my beautiful god-daughter, who is a keen photographer - was kind enough to take some blog shots for me.  Today I'm happy to show you some more pictures from my 'photo shoot' in the local woods.  We had some laughs at me changing tops in the bushes - and dodging the dog walkers (could of been rather embarrassing), also using the branches to hang the clothes up that kept bending over. Lol.

This chiffon tunic from Matalan in one of the most popular colours of this season - plum.  This tunic in the deep purple colour, warm and vibrant, has an elasticated waist, giving it good shape.  Finishing above the knee - for me only suitable with jeans or possibly leggings.  For these shots I choose some skinny jeans from Next.  It has little button detail down the front from the V neck and three quarter length sleeves.  I didn't need a jacket or cardigan on this occasion, however a cream or blue would work well together.
You can also see some beige boots - not just any beige boots - my favourite beige boots!
To complete this look I only needed a borrowed necklace from youngest daughter and a scarf belonging to middle daughter! Voila!

Here I think I'm pointing to my boots, or It could be my necklace - ha ha ha!!

These tassel boots are from Florence and Fred last year.  I was drawn firstly by the colour, secondly by the gorgeous tassels - with a solid block heel I knew that they'd by favoured on many occasions - how right I was!  Are you a fan of tassels?  Do you own anything more noticeable than boots with tassels?
I love how this necklace picks out the colours, bringing out the very pale plum and blue.
I'm lucky to have daughters to borrow their accessories - and vice versa.

Esther Ruby Photography.

You can't really tell in this photo, but the scarf is mixed with all the colours in my outfit, cream, blue and plum.  Love wearing a scarf and now it's a bit cooler I can start to enjoy my vast collection.

Until tomorrow ..... x

  11. Plum is one of my favourite colours too - pretty buttons on the front of the tunic. I really like block heels so comfortable to walk in! And a little fringing goes a long way.

    1. Mine too, especially for the Autumn months. I love these boots, can't believe they were only £20 in the F and F sale last Spring (I believe) wanting to wear them every day! Fringing is quite a bold statement, but hey ho! Thank you for stopping by. x
