Back from hols - back to normal.

Hello everyone, back from my week away feeling relaxed, revitalised and raring to go.
Arriving back for a few more family birthdays, three to be exact, therefore a busy few days instore for me.
My holiday to Lindos was amazing, the hotel, food, weather and company - everything was fabulous, almost a shame I had to return home!  Seeing the children made up for that, they've survived at home on their own and everything is in one piece - "high five to that".

I mentioned before I left for my hols in Greece, that I was going to take only one pieces with me. This in the way of dresses or jumpsuits.  It proved to be such a great idea, one piece instead of skirts or trousers to match with tops.  I don't know about you but I tend to take far too many separates when going away, thinking I'll give myself some choice - This only proves to work in the opposite way, too much choice can be overwhelming and stressful, therefore the old saying less is more comes to mind!
I have to add this worked well for the evenings, but I did fail in the daytime, with one exception, my newly purchsed drop waist kaftan. On the other days I wore shorts and T shirts or boob tubes.  My reason for this purely because I hadn't bought anything suitable prior to the holiday, but I'll endeavour to do so for my next vacation - result! A good reason to go shopping!

Here's how my choices looked.  Six evening dresses/jumpsuits and one daytime kaftan.

  2. Wow! You have a beautiful collection of dresses and jumpsuits! I never would have thought to pack that way, but I may try it next time. It is a great idea and I get totally stressed trying to plan separates when packing. Thank you so much for the great tip!
