Styling a Foil Dress - Thursday - Chic & Stylish Linkup

Morning all.
Hope you’re well.

I’m off to London today. I’ve been invited to the Bonmarche Press Day in Covent Garden. It’ll be lovely to see what’s new in from then and I’ve seen a few bits already and I have to say I’m impressed! I’ve been a couple of times before but it’s still excited to go. I get to see the new collection, catch up with the staff from Bonmarche and also meet other influencers. I’m meeting the lovely Michelle - Fifty & Fab. We’re having a lunch before heading to the event so I’m very excited to see her again. We always say we’re going to meet up for lunch and a catch up but so far haven’t done it! I’ll try to add some stories on Instagram.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

I’ve been holding onto this pretty foil dress * for a few weeks. It’s from the last collection from Klass and I must say how easy it is to wear. It’s quite a thin fabric but because of the amount of material has a gorgeous feel to it. It’s swishes and says about beautifully. It’s definitely one for my dance lessons. I think it would be nicely at home for a wedding or christening too. I also think it’ll great for a night out with friends when a bit of boogie-ing is sure to happen! The shoes are a good pick but the only problem is when I took them off I’d ruined the heels walking on the stones! I’ve had them a while so have put them in the bin! There’s no way they could be repaired which is a shame. Do let me know if you see any similar because I’d love to replace them!

Did you see the sleeve detail? They are a flattering cap style that has a slit in the middle! The boat neck shape is also a welcomed addition. There’s no need for a necklace with this style. I added statement earrings instead. They’re a gold double circle, I like to have either a necklace or earrings as I don’t like a clutter look!

I’ve
had this fascination hanging around in my dressing room for a while. As it’s a neutral shade it goes with lots of colours, therefore it’s been used by all the girls in my family. I love a versatile piece like this don’t you? Oh and if you need to borrow it you know where I am! 🤣

I thought
my wine coloured Teddy Blake bag matched the dress so it was my first choice. I could have gone with a gold bag or maybe a similar colour to my heels, I love to have choices don’t you? Another addition was the pashmina. It’s a sandy colour so works well. I also think a little gold bolero jacket would be perfect too. What would you choose?

Just had to share this last photo, just look at the amount of fabric, it’ll be fun to dance around in this beauty, look at this reel to judge the swish!!
