December Review

Good morning my friends.
How are you on what might be your first proper-back-to-normal-day!

I’m back to the gym this morning and am planning to lose the few lbs I’ve put on over the past weeks, which I’m really looking forward to doing.  I’m not worried at all as I knew 100% I’d put a bit of weight on. I know I’ve been eating lots of things I shouldn’t have - but really enjoyed doing it! lol.
I’m taking the last of the decorations down today too. The house looks so bare and quite honestly sad, but I’m excited to think next year I’ll hopefully be in the new house so will have to see where I can put everything and more importantly if any of the garlands will have a suitable place!! ( My house has lots of wooden beams that can easily have hooks drilled into it. New house won’t have that!) Do you leave the festive decorations up for as long as possible or do you remove them at the earlier opportunity?

Now you know it’s the first Monday of the new month which makes way for the December Review let’s take a stroll down last month’s lane.

Way back at the beginning of the month I was sharing a new pair of barrel leg trousers I found on Vinted. Head over to this post to read all about them.

I was telling you about my night in Arundel next. I spent a lovely couple of days with David and our best friends celebrating Christmas. Head over to read all about it and find out how it went.

Styling a short sleeved maxi next. I love to give my outfits longevity and that’s just what I did with this gorgeous wine coloured dress. Head over to find out how I made this dress Winter suitable here

Sparkly season seems to be ages ago doesn’t it. In this post I share a pair of sequined trousers that proved suitable with a few different tops. Head back to let me know what your favourite look was.

My last post for the month was for Style not Age. You might have noticed a lack of posts and quite honestly I’ve got no reason other than being just too busy to get them out! Family have taken priority this year, I hope that doesn’t make you too sad. X Anyway do stop by and have a look at the post featuring Anna, Emma and Hilda, we all tackled the prompt of Prints Charming so very differently!

Thanks very much for maintaining your support, it really means so much to me.
I look forward to seeing you in 2026 and don’t forget a little change to the Chic & Stylish linkup as there’s going to be three favourites this year!!
Cheerio for now. X
