Lighthouse Clothing - Chic & Stylish Linkup

Good morning my friends.
How are you all?

I’m feeling really good. I’ve got lots of outfits to style and the ideas are furtively running around my mind  - I’ve had a real boost to get back into it recently. Funny how that happens sometimes isn’t it.  I’m planning on bringing back Style Steal each month and have been working on that along with some projects for Instagram too.

I’m also VERY excited to be going away next week to Sicily. It’s been just over a year since we were there before and as it feels like going home I can’t wait to get there. All the staff are incredibly friendly and so helpful and I’m excited to see what and where this break takes us.

Today I want to share with you these perfect pieces for Autumnal wear. I was pleased to receive some of the items included in today’s post from Lighthouse Clothing.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Who else likes to emulate the surroundings of the different seasons? I particularly like to do this in Autumn - a bit like wearing white in summer and red in winter (I wear red in all seasons to be fair). So come the months when the leaves are all sorts of coppery, reddish shades I lean towards these kind of colours much like today’s look.

Rust is the perfect colour for Autumn and suits most skin tones, its rich shades pair well with so many other colours. Today I’ve matched the gilet with denim and beige jeans and added boots from my extensive shoes collection. 🤭

The padded gilet * has a front zip and high collar. The sleeveless look is a brilliant style for those in-between days when it’s not too cold and still mild - a long sleeve top of some description works nicely underneath and a contrasting colour like denim blue is a striking combination. Have a look on the Lighthouse website to find all the sizes, product details and prices - you’ll be pleasantly surprised at what’s on offer!

Have you spotted the fabulous collar of this denim shirt? * It’s a fancy addition and one I’d not usually pick but I really like it. It makes quite a statement though and I’m imagining a small bow tied round it for another occasion or possibly a striking necklace it the space that’s left - ideal isn’t it?

I don’t wear hats very often, I usually get awful hat hair but this bobble hat * will come in handy when the weather gets really cold, so it’ll be super for a country walk or a brisk walk along the seafront. Isn’t the colour of the bobble lovely.

I wanted to find a pair of check or patterned trousers that were of a thick fabric but couldn’t find any so my stretchy cream jeans were a great stand in. These have been in my wardrobe for a good few years and never fail to impress me. Because they have a nice stretch they pull on beautifully and always look good. They have a high waist and fit everywhere they should!
