Hope you’ve had a super weekend.
I’m still away, so this post has also been planned in advance.
David and I have returned to Sicily for a few well deserved days away. We’ve come back to Savoca in Sicily and I promise a full post will be planned to share all the stunning locations we visited! The weather has been very kind to us u like the UK, so it’s been a hot few days! Heaven knows what it’ll be like when we get home tomorrow!!
It’s the last Monday of the month so without further a-do it’s time for the ladies from Style not Age to take to the stage.
This month we’re doing Autumn, so sit back and enjoy our Autumnal Colours prompted by Hilda.
You all know I love all the seasons and Autumn is no different. I love the change of seasons and draw upon the surroundings to inspire and guide me to colours and tones to wear. I feel right at home wearing tan, beige, reds and coppery shades - topped off with gold accessories. Is this a season you love too?
Now I know you can see a lot of grey in my outfit, but I wanted to change things up and not go down my usual wear-browns-tans-and-rust-shades look but felt adding grey into the equation would change it up to a wearable look suitable for work days and lunch dates - what do you think?
Much like everyone else’s outfits today mine is also shopped from my wardrobe. I must admit to leaving this one to the last minute and therefore scuttling around to find something suitable. Well as you can imagine I’ve got lots in my wardrobe already so it was only a matter of putting my thinking head on and finding an outfit. That’s the beauty of what we do, we can always ‘throw’ something together can’t we!
The trousers are from F & F and although they are a supermarket chain are still excellent quality but reasonable priced - there’s nothing wrong with low grade outlets is there!
Now the jacket is in a different league. David bought it from Hobbs a few years ago. I’d asked for a Chanel style jacket and he found me this one which I’ve obviously still got and love to slide on! It’s a mixture of creams & peaches but looks a different shades although here. Works well with the black and grey I reckon!
Hilda, whose challenge this was, picked new with old. Her trousers are from Cos but the rest of her outfit is my favourite ‘shopped’ from her wardrobe. Find out more about this look on her blog Over the Hilda.
Emma chose a vivid orange jumpsuit which she styled with a mixture of old and new pieces. You can see how her look came to fruition on her blog Style Splash.
Finally Anna found this ensemble from shopping her wardrobe and doesn’t she look awesome in it. Find out how her stunning outfit was born on her blog Anna’s Island Style.
Thanks very much for stopping by today. Much love to you my friends.
Bye for now and see you on Thursday when I’ll be back and full of Sicilian adventures.
