January Review

Welcome everyone, it's lovely to have you here.
Is your month going to plan, what are you up to?

I'm in Les Arcs in the French Alps skiing at the moment, so I'm hoping this post actually publishes!

As it's the first Monday of the month It's time to share what I wore last month, so without any further ado let's get the ball rolling and start my January Review.

I started the month off with a super duper patterned dress that really filled me with happiness and thoughts of Spring.  This will be one to turn to quite often when the weather improves, it's just one of those dresses that ticks all my boxes.

This is one of the styles that I really think suit me, a cross over bodice and flattering flared skirt from it.
I also like the fact it has long sleeves, a very welcomed addition in cold weather.  The patchwork print is eye-catching too and the fact it's on a white background makes it all the more feasible for the coming months when the sun shines and there's a bit of warmth to the day.  I love it when I can wear a jacket over something like this, maybe even with boots. I'm so wanting the next season to arrive, I'm sure you can tell!

Have you every dressed up in something you felt wasn't for your age group?  Well that's what I did for my next blog post.  I featured my new red bra under a delicious red blazer and black palazzo trousers.
Rather pleased with the result & I might even be tempted to wear it out ... for the right occasion that is!

I shared a stylish khaki outfit with you next and love how this whole look came together.  Crowing glory was this military style jacket.  It's super quality and I'd love you to have a quick look at the post, you can see it via this link.

It's all about my trip to London to see Frozen next.  I spent a brilliant afternoon with my grand-daughter and my three girls to see the hit musical at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.  Do hop over for a read about my fabulous time there, and you will also see what treat we all had afterward the show!

Another dress on show here.  I do love wearing dresses and feel so glamorous and feminine in them especially if they're long like this maxi style.  It's going to be super cute for dinner out and the colours make shoe pairing a dream, there's so much choice.  Here I opted for cream which looks fun, but fancy my strappy blue sandals will look very cute with it. X

I styled this pretty floral shirt with jeans and love everything about this mix.  It's another perfect example of what to wear in Spring.  Lighter wash jeans, off-white boots and a brighter coat that will flirt with the blossom and buds in the next few weeks.  What's not to like about this outfit?

Finally the last post of the month features me and the ladies from Style Not Age.  We share styles based around a title set by one of us each month.  Our prompt for January was January Blues, and i certainly think we beat ours, just pop back to see how good everyone looked!

So chuffed you could join me today, I hope you liked my little 'catch up' from last month's posts.  I love to have a look at what I've worn, even though it's only a couple of weeks - I've often forgotten what I picked to wear, so it's a nice surprise!
See you on Thursday for the linkup my friends.
Cheerio X
