I hope you are all well.
Another busy few days for Mummabstylish - the Bank Holiday always throws me off track, so with that and a couple of birthdays recently I don't know if I'm coming or going. 😅
On Tuesday I went to see the new Downton Abbey film. It's called A New Era and I was suitably impressed with the whole thing. I'm a big fan and watched the series religiously every Sunday evening. My Mother-in-law also loved watching it with us and we had many an enjoyable Sunday evening watching it. My daughter is also a huge fan too - she walked down the aisle to the theme tune and even had one of the cars featured in the drama for her wedding! Lovely memories for us all, did you ever watch it? I have to say what a fabulous 'feel good' film it was - thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and actually want to see it again - I always see other bits when I watch a film again - do you?
With a couple of holidays booked I've started thinking about my Summer wardrobe. I have plenty of one piece dresses and jumpsuits so won't need to add too much there, I will need some swimwear and maybe a couple of cover up dresses. One thing I won't be needing are a pair of comfy sandals as I was recently approached by Moshulu asking if I'd like to review a pair of my choice. Well with a fantastic selection I found on the site I just had to say yes!
If you order now and up until Tuesday 10th May (11.59pm) Moshulu are offering £10 off cork sandals - I do love a bargain, do you? So why not take advantage of the above discount and get yourself a stylish pair too!

When it comes to sandals, what ticks all your boxes? For me number one is comfort, followed closely by the look. I've bought all kinds of footwear from cheap to expensive and have to say that the price of a sandal doesn't determine how enjoyable my feet will feel in them. So when I picked the white leather Danube* both these factors were at the forefront of my mind. I have to add I was pleasantly surprised with both the look and feel of the cork based slip on and when I tried them on my feet were overjoyed with how light they were and how soft they felt. You know when you put on a shoe and your feet could literally sigh, that's what mine did!
I've been wearing these sandals with jeans too and I know they'll see me through Spring and Summer and into Autumn, with the same breezy, easy to wear way - I hope you don't tire of them my friends as they're sure to be on repeat!
Here's a closer shot of my gorgeous sandals, I have to say they fit true to size and have two helpful buckles to tighten or loosen to your desired width.
I tend to play safe and pick white and neutral shades, but there's four other colours to chose from and a plethora of styles & shades on offer, do let me know what you'd choose!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you like the photos hubby took - I've been having a practice after my one-2-one course and feel my shots are improving ... slowly.

Let me tell you a bit more about my outfit. This typical seaside dress (just because it reminds me of a deckchair) has to equal the comfort of my sandals - it's just so easy to slip on, it's lightweight and a great cover up for swimwear. It's one of those dresses that can be dressed up or down depending on the mood. I've worn it with trainers and also with cute wedges in the past.
It's navy and white stripe made from tee shirt fabric and really does just glide on. It's years old but still washes up well and doesn't crease too much making it an ideal choice to pack for holidays. I think this one will be included on my next trip.
I've been trying to use more pattern mixing in my outfit so picking the blue and white and pink from my nail polish I added this super scarf. Birds and stripes working hard together don't you think!
Now you know I swear by wearing a jean jacket don't you, and I wanted to wear it here too. Hanging next to it was my white version keeping it light and airy - what's not to love?
A little denim jacket is a must for Spring days and cooler Summer nights when an extra layer could be needed, I guarantee you'll appreciate buying one for yourself! I've also got a bright pink version that'll earn it's keep too & too be fair there's a handful of other hues that will partner this look beautifully. What would your choice be?
