Coffee & Cream - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Morning my friends.
Wow, how late am I, sorry for the delay - just been such a busy bee!
Hope you're all enjoying the last few days of August.
I've had a some nice outings over the past few days, you may have seen my IG post's sharing a belated Christmas Present at The Fordwich Arms and also my day out in London with my daughter

I have a family party on Saturday at my Mum's all the family plus my sisters family and my uncle will be there.  We're all taking a plate of food which will make it much easier on my mum, so she won't be left having to prepare food for 30!!  I've opted to make a salmon pate & coronation chicken.  I can't wait to get together with my extended family as it's been way too long - will hopefully take some photos to share with you all.

I've been to two classes today, then had my hair trimmed too!  I'm looking bright & fresh with my newly coloured and cut locks X

With weather a little on the chilly side today I opted for trousers.  I didn't need a jacket because this little lace creation had sleeves and double layer.
These wide legs palazzo trousers come from M & S and have worked a treat for me since buying them in the sale earlier this year.  I wanted a nice tan pair as I had loads of ideas for them.  I know they'll go really nicely with navy and also pale blue - like I've worn here before.  Today this coffee and cream look was my choice and I'm really pleased how well it looks.  I have to admit to a bit of an accident ... you see I took a tea with me in my insulated cup and managed to spill it right down the front.  My idea of popping to the supermarket would have been scuppered had hubby not given me the idea to turn it back to front!  You know how us bloggers manage to change in the car so I switched it around in the car park ... luckily no-one was around so my dignity was saved ... ha ha ha!!!

This beautiful lace top is a delight to wear.  I picked it up on a previous trip to L'Escala - they have lots of shops selling all sorts of lace creations and I can't wait to get back there and buy some more.  I'm pleased this one looked as good turned the other way - given another option for the future now haven't I!

I'm liking the trainers trend and have well and truly jumped on that bandwagon wearing trainers with anything at nearly every opportunity - they're just so bloomin' comfy aren't they?  You can see the exact Hotter Shoes Switch trainer I've got here, and they've been reduced to just under £50

I have plenty of bags that would suit this look brilliantly and ended up picking my tan cross-body from Oasis which completed today's look.

Time for the #Chicandstylish #LINKUP.
