Animal Print Dress from Bonmarche - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Morning everyone.
How are you all today?
Hope you aren't too cold, I know it's April so we shouldn't expect anything different!
These four day week's seem to fly by, I nearly forgot to prepare today's post!  Ended up working late into the night to get it done.

So even though it's not really dress weather at the moment ... today I want to share this striking animal print* look with you.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

I'm a big fan of wearing dresses and have a fair number in my wardrobe begging to be worn, but that doesn't mean another addition wouldn't be greatly appreciated!  So when Bonmarche asked me to select a couple of pieces I jumped at this animal print dress with an asymmetrical hem and perfect v back.

The panelled A line styled dress has a brown background with black and cream stripes across it. The hem really stood out to me, as it's flutted and swishy - a proper girly dress that is just so wearable.

It would be perfect for a summer holiday (when that will be I don't know).  It could be worn over flat sandals or taken up a notch with heels like I have worn.  Mine are from Wallis a couple of seasons ago, but look excellent (I adore the woven effect by the way).  The nude mules are rather high, but I'm willing to overlook that for the sake of fashion. 😍  They're more of a car to bar shoe, but certainly look the part!

I popped this little off white blazer over the top, which compliments the dress beautifully.  It would look just as nice with a little shrug cardigan or pashmina

The stylish midi comes in sizes 8 - 20, however they are selling fast and some are already sold out, especially as it's been reduced in the sale to £14.  The soft drape polyester is hand wash with cool iron and fits true to size. 👍
