Floral Trousers with a new purchase from Zara.

Hi there - thank for stopping by this morning.
My weekend has been a rather quiet and relaxing affair, with heavy winds ruling the play on Saturday I failed to get the grass mowed or the hedge cut with my new trimmer.  I did have a nail appointment which was probably the most exciting thing to happen!  I received some tongs from Hot Tongs in the post and managed to have a practice curling my hair.  Without using any product along with the windy weather it didn't last too long!  I may even try to do a blog post about them, but will see how I get on with them first.

As the weather has taken a change for the worse it's made me think of my Autumnal wardrobe, so today's outfit is one that will definitely be worn come the next few months when it's going to be cooler.
You might remember I wore these floral trousers earlier on this year when it was much colder here.

I've got my share of jackets hanging in my wardrobe, and this long line blazer was picked up in the Wallis sale earlier this year.  I know it's boring beige, but feel it will go with so many of my outfits and give them longevity into the cooler months.  How cute is this similar version from Marks and Spencer?

I love these floral peg style trousers that have a neat side tie belt on them making them wearable even though I've lost weight.  I've pull the tie tighter and tied in a bow.  These are from T K Maxx, but I've seen plenty of flowery patterned pants in the shops recently - check out these from Next that are cute.

Do you remember I paired these pretty florals with a pale blue fluted jumper before?  Baby blue looked so good with them, so when I found this dainty little knitted top in Zara I knew, without doubt it would work - It came home with me of course. 😉  This timeless blazer is a charming addition & the beige block shade picks out the background of the trousers, tying everything together effortlessly for a bright and fun outfit.

The detailing on the sleeve is so pretty and makes this top just that little bit different.  I just love everything about this outfit and feel it really does stand out from the crowd - what do you think?

Now aren't these mules adorable?  I spotted another blogger wearing them so hastily went online to find them.  I bought them when they were on discount but stupidly bought a size too small, (I'm an in between size) when I tried to get the bigger size they were out of stock!  After going on holiday I remembered them and tried again, fortunately they had my size in stock AND were reduced so I bought them without a moments thought.  They just look so good on, they'll pair beautifully with so many outfits so were a good buy for me. Limited sizes available, and still reduced!

  4. I love the floral trousers with that pale blue sweater - they're both so pretty and springy and that's a great way to go into the cooler weather (not a fan of cool or cold, so anything to take my mind of of them). And those mules are beautiful! And at least your curling iron left a little wave in your hair - it looks pretty!

  5. Oh this top is super cute I like the color, the cut and the texture. It looks great with the trousers and I like how the color picks up the blue in the top.
