What did you get up to at the weekend?
Saturday, among other things, I looked after my grand-daughter and grand-son whilst my daughter took her young 2 year old to the barbers. Him not being a big fan of having a hair cut, he ... how shall I put it ... screams the place down, and fights to get outta the chair! So she has to bribe him, hold him, and try to calm him down so he can have it done - anyone else have that problem? However on this occasion he was on his best behaviour & his long locks were trimmed in no time. She returned to mine to spend the rest of the day with us before leaving with only two kids as princess was mine for the night - yes she was on a 'sleepover' with nanny and grandad. 😍 We all managed to stay awake until 9.30 when we all went to bed! Rock and roll eh?
Sunday morning I was wide awake at 7.00am .... no I was fast asleep and didn't really want to get up! Regardless - princess & I got up and had breakfast excited to get ready for a family bbq. I shopped for the ingredients for Vanilla Cheescake and Profiterols along with meat (way too much as usual). Another fabulous day with nearly all the family, aren't they the best times! What did you do at the weekend? Do let me know in the comments box, love to hear from you.
Eternal Collection are a family run business based in rural Highland Perthshire, UK and offer a fast and friendly service from beginning to end. There are plenty of options to customise your choice & all the pieces are carefully packaged in well presented gift boxes, which make receiving an item an exciting experience. I'm hoping you saw me unwrapping my stylish gift - very pleasant indeed!
Are you a necklace wearer? Personally I adore wearing necklaces, and have got loads to chose from! I've got my old faithfuls but am always on the lookout for new ones.
When asked recently by Eternal Collection if I'd be willing to share an item on the blog I was delighted to pick something from their huge on line catalogue. I scrolled through the pages gaping at the pretty gems shining back at me - amazed at the choice - not only necklaces, but scarfs, earrings (pierced & clip on), bracelets, brooches and lots of cute accessories - I personally love the shoe clips that change shoes in an instant!
Want to know what I loved the most?
It's this rather stunning Silver Crystal Statement Cuff necklace* and boasts hand woven, highly faceted silver crystals, 20 inches to sit beautifully in the right place and is some 3.5 cm deep to truly make this an impressive piece.
I wanted the necklace to speak for itself so picked a LBD to show it off. You can see this regal cuff is made for an open neckline like mine. The dress I picked up in H & M for the Hen Weekend back in May, it was my choice for the black/gold night when my daughter wore white.
Red and grey to accessorize my outfit, although any number of other colours would achieve the same gorgeous outcome - what do you like to pair with your LBD?
I opted for the standard clasp, but there's also the choice of a magnetic or hook clasp for the same price it's just whatever fastening suits you.
You'll find this item, has been reduced in the sale to £30, and is usually dispatched within 24 hours. You'll also find there's matching earrings and bracelet to compliment this quality piece if you like to go all matchy-matchy. There's also the smoky pink or Hematite option too - both so pretty and very chic. Do take a look at the Eternal Collection as I'm sure there'll be a piece or two from their exclusive designs that take your fancy.
Thanks so much Esther Ruby for taking photos for me, as always we had the giggles whilst I was trying to change in the car with people walking past!
Catch up with you on Thursday my friends.
Bye for now. X
