Style Steal - Pink and Blue - my kind of colours.

Morning lovelies.
Hope you're well.

So happy you've joined me today  - since it's the third Monday in the month I'm sharing a Style Steal.
The two colours I'm featuring today really are two of my favourite ones - pink, always has been & cobalt blue a recent addition.  I tended to steer towards red when I was younger feeling it went better with my colouring, but since seeing a program on tv a few years ago I've somewhat changed my mind.  The stylist showed that with a bit of a tanned skin blue can look just as good if not better!  I'm not even sure that pink suits me really but as it's always been at the top of my colour chart I always gravitate to anything in it's tone, and I love it so basically it has to suit me! Lol
So let's see what I'm talking about.

I've been styling this dainty pleated skirt a different way each month and there's another look coming your way on Thursday, but I wanted to use it today for this Style Steal too - so there's two looks with this Primark skirt in one week!  Kind of a twofer.  Also see it previously styled with a mustard lace top and worn casually here.
Have you guessed who's style I've stolen this month ….
… I follow Anna's blog with interest and anticipation, Each week looking forward to seeing what and how she's styled something - always getting ideas and inspiration from this over fifty blogger - she really can show us a thing or two and I would urge you to have a nosey around her blog Anna's Island Style (if you don't already). Anna has a flamboyant, quirky style that really shows off her personality - having had the pleasure of meeting her last year I speak from experience.  She's also a face from the J D Williams campaign and is featured on TV so she really is on top of her game!

Not quite the same tones as Anna has picked, however still a fab take on a wonderful outfit.

With Sunday having such brilliant weather we decided to take a saunter up to the local for a little drink in the sun - two bottles of prosecco later - no, no, no I know what you're thinking, but they were small bottles! Lol.  I enjoyed a pleasant afternoon in the fading summer sun that was literally burning hot.  A lazy catch-up-do-nothing kinda Sunday which was one of the best.  Just how long will this weather last I do not know, but one thing I do - I'm enjoying every second of the hot rays on my skin.

Cheers from my local!  Can you see it's only a small bottle - honestly. 🙏

Pairing my pink cardigan over a white top (that's got embellishments on it) presented with a floral pink, blue and white scarf casually tied in a knot.  I had wanted a pretty jazzy shirt like Anna was wearing but alas couldn't find one, hence the plain cardi.

Getting the last bit of wear from these Jones pink mules yesterday.  You've all seen them in recent months paired with so many outfits - but to be honest they are so damn comfy I just had to wear them!

Thanks for visiting today, hope you enjoyed the steal.
Catch you again on Thursday when the #chicandstylish #LINKUP will go live.
Oh and wish me luck - I'm on a photography course today - David Bailey eat your heart out!!
Until then it's been fun - enjoy your week lovelies.
Bye for now. X
