Again with the stripes! #chicandstylish #linkup

Morning.  Thanks for stopping over.
Come see what this over fifty fashion blogger likes to wear.
After wearing stripes recently by way of some cool ankle trousers I couldn't wait to show off another example of this trendy fashion.  Are you lining up to add this look to your outfits?

With September and Autumn/Fall fast approaching, I'm just about letting warmer outfits filter into my mind.  We can easily let our Summer wear merge into looks for the next season by simply adding another layer.  A tee shirt and cropped jeans needs only a shirt added to turn summer cool into Autumn cosy.

So the white crops are the perfect look for the transition period.  As white goes with anything they'll certainly be a versatile choice.  Today I've paired with sage green.  I'm enjoying the stripes that are in stores now, and felt the stripy shirt would be a welcomed addition to my Autumnal collection.  I picked up the shirt in Primark, I love the tie detail on the sleeve and rear neckline - quite a feature don't you think?

The white wide leg crops are still waiting to be frayed, I still can't decide whether to do it or not!  What do you think?  They look so good anyway, maybe I should have bought two pairs when I bought them in the sale for £10 from New Look!

You've seen these white peep toe sandals previously.  I received them from Lotus shoes back in March where I styled them with all white jeans and vest top along with my pretty tassel kimono, for me an obvious choice for an outfit based on white pieces - it just streamlines the overall look.

Fancy a party?  Let's get going on the #chicandstylish #linkup then.

From over sixty links last week, here's the favourite.  Say hello to Suzanne. You can find out more about her exciting lifestyle and chic outfits on her blog Crazy Blond Life. I'm pining over her animal print shirt, so much so I've got ideas to copy this for a forthcoming Style Steal!!

Now let's start linking up.
Here are some guidelines.
Please follow your host on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram.
Link up your fashion and beauty posts below - other topics allowed too!

Thanks to Esther Ruby for the shots.  We had a super evening capturing the photos, but literally had a few minutes to get them done.  I was oblivious to the descending sun and possibility of missing the best shots because of chatting to an acquaintance walking their dog.  😌  Esther was patiently waiting for me to finish and still produced some amazing work!  Clever girl. x

Hope to see you on Thursday for this week's #chicandstylish #linkup.
Until then bye bye. xx

  9. I love stripes, and I love this outfit! I think fraying the jeans would be fun, but they look great as is and may be a bit more versatile that way in the future.
