Style Not Age - My Jumpsuit Joy!

Hi there ladies, how's May going for you?
Today It's time for May's Style not Age challenge.

I've been away in Cornwall for the weekend with my family & only just got back!  After the busy couple of weeks I've had lately it's been nice to take time away to collect my thoughts and relax a little.
The stunning Pencubitt House which is situated in Liskeard played host this weekend.  I enjoyed the surroundings of the countryside in Cornwall whilst partaking in drinking large G & T's, wine and wonderful food - well someone has to! 😉 The silence interrupted by the distant mooing of cows, the flapping and swooping of the swallows building their nests & our intermittent laughter! I'll be sharing a post about my weekend away soon, so hope you'll watch out for that one!
Back to the Style not Age Challenge ….

May's task fell into the lap of Anna.  My Jumpsuit Joy has been one of my favourite challenges so far, and I jumped in (sorry) with two feet.  I did think I'd be buying a new jumpsuit as you've seen all my collection already, here's my snakeskin choice, orange is the new black pick & finally my faux velvet style steal.

However I seemed to strike it lucky with this assignment!  Whilst taking photos a few weeks ago, I randomly grabbed this from my daughters room.  I'd often see her wearing it and loved it, wishing I could fit into it!  Guess what?  I did, I do I do with a bit of a squeeze.. I do.... what do you think?

Fitting into a size twelve had me feeling rather chuffed!  Paired with tan peep toes - which I have to add I'm happy to be wearing again.  After seeing my fellow bloggers across the pond wearing theirs I felt I was missing out!

I do love wearing jumpsuits, they are so comfortable, but still feel stylish and elegant - like I'm wearing a dress.  Do you enjoy wearing jumpsuits?  or does the fear of bathroom issues put you off?

This large palm print is rather endearing for me, it reminds me of the house plants my mum had when I lived at home - rather the trend for the 70's, but they always needed cleaning and watering.  Our house was full of indoor plants, and mum kept them well.  I however hate them, whenever I've been given any sort of plant to grow inside I always kill them, by either over or under watering them - lol.  The only flowers I have now are the cut variety, you can't really go wrong with them. 😇

Shall we see what Anna, Hilda and Emma have chosen to share with us?

Anna can be found at Anna's Island Style.
Sporting a black and white jumpsuit covered in giraffes Anna is looking mighty stylish & warm in her outfit.  As always Anna has put a twist on her look by wearing a long sleeved top underneath her jumpsuit instead of the normal layered-over-the-top way.  The bright sunny day was obviously hiding the fact it was too chilly to go sleeveless, let's pray our weather will improve in the coming months!

Hilda is on Over the Hilda.
With the asymmetric top and vertical stripes, Hilda's white and black jumpsuit is not being held down in the fashion stakes by her weighty anchor neighbour!  It's a fabulous look Hilda.

Find Emma at The Style Splash.
Emma certainly has the perfect figure to show off her slinky black jumpsuit.  From the wide legs and bell sleeves to the red fluffy bag & wide belt - I love everything about the outfit.

Fitting into my daughter's jumpsuit certainly gave me joy.  Liking this one so much I'll possibly probably be introducing another into my collection sooner rather than later!!

So glad you joined us for the Style not Age challenge today, you can catch our previous posts Dotty for polka dotshaving fun with fur and Rainbow styling.

Thanks Esther Ruby for taking my photos today, much appreciated Hun. X

See you bright and early on Thursday - there'll be a #linkup party to join.
Have a fab bank holiday lovelies - hope you're doing something exciting.
Bye for now. X

  1. Great jumpsuit Jacqui and smashing colours. I had a brief foray into jumpsuit world, but still haven't found one that suits me. Will keep trying, because you have several and always look great in them!

  8. This is a beautiful jumpsuit and it suits you. I have been a fan of rompers for awhile and recently got into jumpsuits because why not?! Though I haven't found the right one, I don't mind about the bathroom issue all that much. Small price to pay for cuteness. Lol 😂
