Style Not Age. After the rain comes the Rainbow.

Hi there my friends.  How have you been?  All good I hope.

As with all my challenges, as soon as I hear the subject I find I'm stumped, no difference with the latest Style not Age task either!  This was Emma's choice and very apt I might say, due to the weather changing from plenty of rain to lots of lovely sunshine.
My blank mind didn't last long because I remembered the pretty rainbow shoes I acquired from my daughter whilst tidying out our garage.

Check out my first outing with these pretty rainbow shoes where I wore them with white jeans, chunky red jumper and my daughters rainbow scarf.

I call them my rainbow shoes for obvious reason, just look at the super bright stripes over them.  A tad high to wear for regular events, but perfect car to bar shoes!
Here's what I wore with them.  With the help from my youngest daughter the outfit fell into place.  I bought these plisse cropped trousers from Primark, youngest daughter also bought some, so we could be twins, which I was quite chuffed with.  I know being lightweight they'll be worth their weight in gold - they have an elastic waist, and they aren't tight fitting, so cool enough to wear when the weather is hot and sticky, I can see myself relaxing in them after a hot day in the sun & a nice cool shower.
I found in the bottom of a drawer this little stripy tee shirt, that I bought for a recent holiday trip to the water park, I only had a bikini and didn't want to show off any undesirable bits of me, lol
Topped off with my ever faithful denim jacket, and the finished touch my beach basket.

I picked these rainbow earring up at the same time as my trousers, I'm not too sure about them & youngest daughter likes them - so they will probably find their way into her room!

The Primark cropped trousers are made of the beautiful material Plisse - very flattering and of course no ironing 👍.  I saw they are also available in khaki too.  What do you think? Something you'd wear too?

Take a look at what my friends have opted for.
First here's the challenger Emma, you can find more about her style at The Style Splash. Wearing a cute wrap over top in a similar colour that I've chosen, it's matched with her blue trousers and yellow shoes - brought together with a delightfully pretty rainbow bag.

Next we head over to Tresco to find Anna, from Anna's Island Style. Lovely Anna has chosen a recent find that I simply love the colours of - pink and red together remind me of a two piece I wore to my daughter's christening, (going to have to dig the photo out I think).  Love the tights too Anna.

Finally meet Hilda who you'll find here at Over the Hilda. She's looking very stylish in her floral dress, this will attract the attention it deserves - it's so blooming pretty!

I hope we have given you some inspiration to try some festive colours to enhance the rainbow effect, they will make you feel and look bright and vibrant even if the rain decides to make an entrance again - which highly likely in the UK!

Glad you could stop over today, hope you'll stop by the other 'Style not Age' blogs too. X
See you again on Thursday.
Bye for now.X
