Mink Polka Dots from M&Co - Chic & Stylish Linkup.

Hello and welcome. 

How’s your week going?

I’m very excited as I’m away tomorrow. David and I are going back to Sicily for a long weekend which will include our 40th wedding anniversary. I wasn’t sure I’d get away as Mount Etna has been erupting (how rude eh) and some flights were cancelled. It’s looking okay now, so I’ll be on my way early tomorrow morning. I’ll be sharing my trip on instagram, so do follow along. 

Wedding preparations are in full swing and not only is it nerve racking, but exciting and emotional at the same time. I’m still looking for my dress and have had plenty of obstacles so far but I’m out today looking so fingers crossed I find ‘my dress’ today! ❤️

I’ve got weddings on the brain for sure,  so I thought as I can’t show you my Mother of the Bride dress yet, but I can show you this one from M&Co which could easily be a guest dress option.

Whether you want a dress for a special occasion or something for a more casual lunch date - M & Co *have plenty of styles to choose from. This polka dot beauty would be the perfect solution for a wedding guest dress as the two colours compliment pearl additions and heeled shoes, adding classic hints and romantic vibes. 

My mink midi is a dream to wear and glides on nicely without the need for buttons or zips. I love an easy-to-wear-on dress like this and the lightweight fabric is fabulous for Summer months when a cooler material is called for. The cap sleeves are very flattering as well, no bulky sleeves to get in the way and make me warm!

I adore the side twist. It’s a striking detail that gives the dress a bit more umph, and it’s a great way to create a feminine shape. I love the silhouette it creates for this pretty dress. 

I picked out 2  pearl bracelets which match my little clutch bag. This is years old and comes out every so often to make an eye catching statement due to being covered in pearls of all shapes and sizes.    

Finally I want to tell you about my heels. These are a super slingback that have a heel that’s so easy to wear for long durations and still looks really elegant. I can’t tell you the amount of wear these pearly shoes have had, but I have had them re-heeled once in the past I must be clocking up years in them!
