February Review.

Morning all.
Another busy weekend for me.
Dancing on Friday evening and dancing on Saturday night too!  You see I was invited to a Ladies Night, which is a dinner dance to celebrate wives of the Freemasons. I had an invite to this splendid occasion and it was so nice to get dressed up in a long dress enjoy a dinner with drinks and a bit of dancing too.
Funnily enough my dancing instructor and his wife were both present at the dinner, however the evening didn't have ballroom style dancing just normal mum and dad dancing ... lol!

Sunday we had a small roast with some of the kids, we're all on tenterhooks awaiting the very late arrival of our newest addition to the family.  Hopefully baby will arrive in the next two days ... 🤞

As it's the beginning of March you'd stopped by just in time to see my catch up post from the past few weeks.  More commonly known as the February Review.

Whilst skiing at the beginning of the month I was pleasantly surprised to share a product to enhance my hair.  I've always had dark hair, that doesn't need much attention, however the shampoo and conditioner enhances it even more.  Do stop by the blog to read more about these fantastic Vegan friendly products and the other products they offer.

Next I share an impressive shirt from a new to me company .. Salamander shirts.  This company offers competitively price shirts of excellent quality and interesting and unusual designs.  Take a look at this pretty styled I took a shining too - styled with jeans and a super cute vest top.

You might already know I like to bring home something to wear from my holidays and was pleased that this satin blouse came home from Abu Dhabi last year.  It's actually from Zara, and I had my eye on it before I went.  It's already proved a winner with jeans and here I'm happy it looks so good with neutral tan pieces.  With so many colours in this blouse there's going to be loads of looks I can create with it!

Did you hear about Random Acts of Kindness Day?  I was happy to receive this stylish lingerie set from Playtex last month.  It so happened to be RAoKD too, and I also received a cotton wash bag to keep my set in the best condition.  Do pop by to read what Random Act of Kindness I did for a stranger, it made me feel so happy. X

I had a few days of wearing one of my favourite items back in February.  Wide leg trousers have to be up there in the fashion stakes and always look chic and elegant.  Have a quick peek at some of my looks wearing them - are they something you would wear?

Following on with the palazzo theme in February, here's the next trousers I styled.  These pretty pink version came from M & S and look's glamorous with this off white and blue scarf - I paired a white jumper with this look and kept the vibe chic with the cream boots and bag. X

Finally I had a very odd prompt from Anna for our Style Not Age challenge.  The theme was If I were a Handbag ... well I didn't really know what to do!  But once I started thinking about it I found my new handbag from Daniella Lehavi fitted the topic with ease ... the outfit fell into place too.  Do let me know what you think of my styling a Summer dress for Winter.  Made this Primark dress a versatile little beauty. X

Great to have you here my lovely friends, do let me know your thoughts on my past outfits, I love to hear from you. x
Cheerio for now.

P.S. .... Still no baby! 😞

  1. Oh, how I wish I could get Nigel to take dancing lessons! He says his two broken ankles (well healed now) prevent such antics! You have fabulous hair, and I'm glad you've found new products for it! I'm sure you're on tenterhooks waiting for the new little one!

    1. I'm the same with David, he just wont join me! I can see why your hubby might not want to join you. x

  2. Lovely recap! Hope the baby arrives soon.

    1. So kind, she finally arrived nearly two weeks late!! x
