"Out of Office" Tee shirt with DIY frayed Jeans.

Hi there my lovelies.

As the title says I'm 'Out of Office' today and for the next few days because I'm on holiday in Ibiza with hubby, my eldest, her hubby and my two grandchildren.  Rather a different holiday to my usual carefree weekends away, but I'm going to enjoy this one just as much if not more!
We're on an all inclusive hotel, which caters for families, so although that's the case, because it's still in term time, there won't be too many older kids around.  There's a fun swimming pool, with lots of water features and play areas, so I'm sure the kids will be having plenty of fun in the sun.  I'm hoping to visit the beach as the hotel is just next door, but princess keeps saying she doesn't like the sand in her toes (who does) & my prince will probably be eating it!!!

Today as I'm out of the office (house really 😂) I thought I better show you my recent purchase that came back with me from my recent trip to L'Escala.

I bought this at the airport actually, having been tempted by so many bloggers wearing graphic tee shirts, I thought I'd better buy one.
This is the first one I've ever owned - yes really!
Next had a couple in the airport shop so I grabbed this blue tee and paid before I could change my mind.  I wore it to the beach over my shorts and loved how it looked.  I actually felt quite hip, trendy and dare I say confident!  Why did I ever think I was too old to wear something like this, god only knows!!  Now I keep looking for other tee's to maybe start a collection.  Here's to the new, younger me. X

Worn with jeans and a blazer for a casual but edgy look which, I have to add, I love!  If the shoes were a little more comfortable I'd be donning this for a shopping trip.  The uncomfortable shoes in question were basic navy court shoes from M & S last year - what I should have been wearing were either my Vionic espadrilles or my Calla Shoes suede court shoes, but you know how it goes if they don't quite 'go' with the outfit then us ladies don't like to use them eh? *rolls eyes* ….. lol

Do you remember I told you about these kick flare cropped jeans?  I had them in my New Look basket for a while and then found they'd been reduced so I bought two pairs!!  I shared the white un-frayed pair last week in my Style not Age challenge with my Bias-cut.com shirt.  I've also had to wear them with my Vionic espadrilles too, basically because they fit so well and look spot on trend.

The blazer was a gift for Mothers Day, having wanted one since last year, I found this in H & M whilst shopping with my daughter, she bought it and then told me to forget about it, so it would be a surprise!!  No trouble in doing that, cose I tend to forget most things.  😂  Are you like that?

My Lotus Shoes clutch bag came in handy to emphasize the classic feel and added depth to the look.
What about the earrings.  Genuine 80's earrings no less.  I bought these years ago, and think they've come back in fashion for about the third time.  You'll be seeing a bit more of these, because I had them on when Esther Ruby took some other photos!

Thanks for stopping by the blog, and also thanks for all your support - it means such a lot. X

See you on Thursday for the #chicandstylish #LINKUP.  I will still be sunning myself in the Mediterranean, well some one has to do it and take one for the team - ha ha! (sorry)

Bye for now. X
