Hello and welcome to Mummabstylish.
How are you all on the 2nd July?
I can’t believe how fast this year is going. I think it’s because I’m so busy with wedding planning, Airbnb work and going to the gym along with family life. It’s never a boring day at Mummabstylish’s house!
David is back from the stag weekend in Tenerife. They all had a good time and everything went smoothly - phew. It’ll soon be the hens turn, woohoo! We’re visiting Salou in Spain, and I’m getting very excited now. The outfits are coming together and I plan to add each one to a packing cube so I’ll know exactly where they are in the case. I’ll be sharing a case, so it’ll make life easier for whoever gets the short straw! ( I like to take a lot with me. 😬)
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
I’ve had empty garden pots hanging around so decided to head over to the garden centre to get some flowers and plants to fill them with. Sophie came with me and we came home with lighter pockets and a full car boot. We set about planing them up when we got home, and all four look great. I’ve used some traditional plants - some of which are trailing flowers and the others are bushy plants that should hopefully fill out nicely and look good in due course.
It was boiling under the plastic roofing, but fortunately my hair stayed in place. I usually have sweat dripping off me and end up scraping my hair into a pony tail so it’s away from my face. It’s been a tad cooler recently, so fortunately wasn’t a problem for me. I wore this outfit, which was based around my cool white cotton skirt. This is from Primark as is the knitted top. It looked fab together, especially with my dolly shoes.
I love this style of top and feel it’s very complimentary. Plus I hate my neck, so any opportunity to hide it I’m all for it. This little knit wears and washes nicely and doesn’t look out of place with a more dressed up feel. It’s got kinda an embossed pattern all over it, which stands out over the classic knit.
I opted for dolly shoes rather than sandals. My feet have been needing more support recently so this style of footwear is good for my toes. I got them from Vinted, they’re actually from H&M and really do need replacing- my toes are nearly poking out the side! 😵💫

Jacqui, this is such a fabulous hot weather outfit! The white and yellow combination is so summery and the added pop of turquoise in your fun bag is very refreshing. I hope you have a fabulous time on your Spanish hen party!

I love the way you celebrate a wedding with the family. With holidays included! That's fabulous. And thank you so much for the feature!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fresh and cheerful summer outfit! I love the yellow knit with the white skirt—it feels so bright and classic. That turquoise tote adds the perfect pop of color, and I completely agree that pockets are always a bonus! Wishing you a wonderful holiday in Spain and happy wedding celebrations ahead!
