Floral for Autumn - why not!

Hello there, thanks for visiting today.

Last week my daughter decided to clear out her wardrobe.  So she scattered all the clothes over her bed, on the chest of drawers & also on the floor & set about going through them.  Managing to create some three or so bags for the charity shop and one for the bin!
This is something I need to do, but I keep putting it off!  I will psych myself up and try to address this soon! Pinky promise!!!

Anyway, whilst my daughter was reorganising her wardrobe I spotted a jacket lurking under the charity pile.  Pulling it from it's slumber from under the huge pile I asked about it.  She explained it was a jacket she had bought some months earlier, but hadn't checked the size It must run in the family It was on the wrong hangar, so she bought the wrong size!
Silver lining... I benefited from her loss and nabbed a freebie for myself!  I must add she's only gone and done it again a few weeks ago and guess what?  I got another give-away jacket - read about that in a future post I'll be sharing. X

Floral blooms continue to flourish for Autumn 17, however they've taken on a darker inclination, so I saw the potential in this lightweight jacket straightaway.  Floral is one of the biggest tends of the season - check out some interesting items in Debenhams here
Pink and green are both good colours in my eyes, but the dark black background gives room for intrigue & attitude.  This autumnal jacket will work equally well with a black, pink or green tee shirts as well as roll neck jumpers for colder days.
Today I matched it with this green tee shirt and black straight leg trousers.  The nice bright ball beaded necklace picked out the colours beautifully.  A match made in heaven.

I love big pockets on garments, & this jacket has two which is fabulous for the odd tissue, phone or lippy if I've not taken a bag with me.  On this occasion I did have my TKMaxx black Fiorelli handbag, big enough for all my bits and pieces that I like to shove in - obviously with my Bag Tidy.

I feel it's about time I purchased some new black shoes, but with all honesty I just haven't found the perfect pair.  These came from Clarks absolutely years ago, but they keep giving and giving to so  many of my outfits and have travelled well with me.  I'm reluctant to let them go until I get the perfect replacement.  I've seen plenty here that might just work!

Glad you could stop by and hope to see you here again soon.

Wishing Esther Ruby a really Happy Birthday.  xxx
Emily took photos today, thanks so much my love. X

See you Monday & hope you all have a super weekend.

Bye for today. X

  19. Jacquie, yea for getting something from your daughter. My girls and Ido the same thing. We are always going through each others "give-aways". I sure with you would link -OH, I just ran back to my blog and saw that you did.Love it. And there were floral prints everywhere on the runway Friday and Saturday, especially men's shirts. As much as I loved them on the men models, not sure if even the teen set (grandsons) would do that one. Take care, it's always fun to visit your world. Terri
